We had this trip planned with Cal's brother Stu and his family months before everything went on. And decided we still needed to do this. Grandpa and grandma let us use their car to go to California, they didn't trust our little car to make it all the way. But we had a go pick it up at the MTC in Provo. Since they just left the end of march preparing to go on their mission to Martin's Cove. Addie was so excited that she got to see them one last time before they go on their mission until October.
We took our time down to San Diego we stopped at Cal's favorite park in St George it is for those kids at heart. We spent the night in Las Vegas. The next day before we continued on our way we went over to Circus Circus for a little food and fun. After getting all settled we went to the ocean. Addie was so excited and got all wet even in her clothes.
The first day in San Diego we went to Sea World. Addie loved the animals. Addie kept asking to see the sharks. She kept saying she wanted to punch them in the nose if they get close. She loved touching the sea life and watching the shows.
We went to Disneyland on Monday. It was 95 degrees that day. What is so hot since Utah was only 50-60 degrees. She didnt want to do much in her Elsa dress. So we changed her and she was so much happier. She LOVED the characters. We went near Cal's Birthday at Disneyland and California Adventure they give you a pin that says its your birthday. Addie also wanted to be like her daddy and asked for a pin.
One day evening we spent at the beach. She had so much fun playing in the water and sand.
One day the big boys went to Six Flags and the rest of us went to Knott Berry Farms. She want to go on the big coasters but was too small. But we still had fun. She loved the flying mail ride.
On the way home we stopped and saw 2 friends that live down south.
