swimming
I took Lily swimming for her first time. Our friend Tara invited us over to their pool. It was fun. Lily didn't stay in the water too long and then she got tired. I had a good time catching up with Tara though.
Nature Walk with the Hays
I went up to Logan last weekend for Henry's first birthday. It was fun to go up there and see family. My parents were up there for the weekend as well. We went on a little nature walk while we were there. I thought the long walk would put Lily right to sleep, but she stayed awake the whole time.

We had a wet spring
This is in front of the store. It's actually not from all of the rain...just a busted fire hydrant. Caleb has been worried about flooding and he was talking about it a lot. He sent these pictures to me and I thought there really was flooding.

Farmer's market
Lily and I ventured out to the Farmer's Market. We got some good produce & some delicious homemade noodles. We'll go back for sure.
Island Park
Every year we get to go up to Island Park with Caleb's family. They rent a big cabin and we all just have a great time. There are a lot of kids and they love playing with their cousins. Everyone had fun holding Lily and it was so nice to have so many helpers.

For the last Gallery stroll I met with with Mindy, Maria and Bev for dinner before. It was our last little hoorah before Mindy moved to Montana. We had a great time and it's always fun to get together. Thanks Mindy for these pics. I pulled them off your blog :)

Lily's Blessing
This Sunday, we had Lily's blessing. Her grandpa (my dad) was the one who blessed her. It was a very special day for her, and what a great thing for her to be able to have her grandpa perform the blessing. He did a great job and we are so thankful for him. Lily looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. Her dress was made by Jackie Hays, my sister's mother in law. Her blessing blanket was made my mother, her grandma Landon.

We had lots of family and friends that came to the blessing and over to our house after. We had a great time. (umm...not sure why I am making so many crazy faces)

4th Anniversary
Last month we had our 4th wedding anniversay. Grandma Cory was able to watch Lily and we went to dinner and were going to go to movie. We at at Market Street Broiler by the University in Salt Lake. We sat at the counter at the restaurant and a nice lady sat next to us. She talked to us a little bit throughout dinner. When we were almost done, she asked us if we like Ira Glass. Caleb said, yes! She said she had 2 extra tickets to see Ira Glass and it starts in about 45 minutes. She wanted to give us the tickets. We decided we could go to a movie anytime, but could only see Ira Glass that night. We took her up on the tickets and had a great time listening to Ira speak. Ira Glass has a radio show on public radio, This American Life. Thanks Grandma for watching Lily. We had a great night out.

2 months
Lily is 2 months old. I can't believe how much a baby changes in just 2 months. We love her so much and can't imagine life without her. A couple things about her at 2 months:
-she is 9 lbs, 7 ounces and 22 inches
-she has been sleeping for a 6-7 hour span at nighttime...ahhh....we love that!
-she is rolling to her side.
-she is much more alert and follows you with her eyes.
-she recognizes her mom and dad's voices
-her neck is getting so strong
-her hair is getting longer, she hasn't lost any of it like lots of newborns do
-she is beautiful!!! at least we think she is :)

Arts Festival
We went to the arts Festival in Salt Lake. It was the hottest day of the year so far. It got up to 95 degrees. We took Lily in the stroller and she just slept the whole time. We saw some great artists and had a great time.

This is one of our favorite artists in Salt Lake, Fred Conlon. We love his work and have a few pieces of his.

Grandpa Lee's house
For Father's day, we went up to Caleb's dad's house in Heber. It is so beautiful up there. I took this picture of the sky right before we left.

Great Grandma Colleen was there and got to hold Lily for a while. It was great to see them all.
