Spring Smells So Good!

I just love flowers and gardening so much, that is why I changed my background.  I'm so excited for spring to really be here and I can be outside getting a tan and working in the yard.
I know it's kind of weird, but I even love weeding my garden!  I just wish my flowers would look as amazing as this!

The muffin top QUEEN!

Okay, so currently I am the reigning Muffin Top Queen and I'm not so fond of that title.
These fine looking ladies are practically my twins.
HOWEVER; because my dad is a total compulsive exerciser, he bought a pull up/ab exercise thing for us to keep in the basement at our new office.  We plan on using it between patients, at lunch, whenever we get the chance.
So hopefully after I use this awesome workout thing, I will have the body of my fav model Alessandra Ambrosio!  Just kidding- that is so far fetched, but I can dream...

Baby MaTord

This is a very funny story about a sweet little boy named McCord (or MaTord if you're Max).  This is him at a Children's Museum, these are not the balls referred to in the story. One day he and his mother, Stef were at target and there was this lady behind them in the checkout line with a big blue ball.  McCord said that he wanted the ball, but his mom said it was time to go, they'd already paid and whatever.  I don't think McCord threw a fit or anything (though I could be mistaken).  Anyways, the lady behind them was "a little off" as Stefanie put it and she bought the ball for them and put it in with their stuff they had purchased.  Now this was a very nice thing to do, but they really didn't need another toy and Stefanie is so nice, that she just kept saying no, no, we have tons of toys already.... I'm sure you can imagine how she would politely try to refuse the present in the awkward situation.  So while she's trying to tell her to keep the ball for her self, she abruptly states,
"DON'T MAKE ME MAD, I HAVE TOURETTES!"
For those of you who don't know Tourette's Syndrome is most often associated with the exclamation of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks, Like in Deuce Bigalow, Male Jigalow.
Anyways, so now McCord will always say, "DON'T MAKE ME MAD, I HAVE TOURETTES"  Which is hilarious because he's not even 3 years old!

Sunday as Usual

All my siblings go over to my parent's house every Sunday (most of us are there the other days too).  It's always just so fun to get together and hang out w/ the whole fam--except John, Stef, and Cordian since they live in Cali.
Here's Mom and Tinkerbell
Reagan started walking a few days ago and she's all over the place, it's so adorable!
Max got some hot new boots
And we celebrated Shelley's 31st Birthday!  Woo Hoo!
It was a party as usual!

William Stokes Prusse

Neil's older sister Monica gave birth to baby boy 3# today (2/23/08, same b-day as my sister Shelley)
Here is Neil holding baby William when he's only a few hours old!!

This is Monica's oldest son Henry entertaining himself with a paddle ball.
Here is Lewis and his Papa, he was getting into everything so Grandma and Papa took the boys home.
Monica, Kurt, Henry, and Lewis.
                                              Congrats to the Prusse family!

Ethan, Alex, and Lindsay

I go help my sister with her kids every Tuesday because that is my day off. Here are some cute pictures of the kids, they are getting so big I can't even believe it! They are really fun to play with and they're always doing new adorable things! I keep trying to make them crawl, but they just aren't into it.

Just a word of advice, if you ever find yourself expecting triplets, start buying everything in 3's immediately. It is surprisingly hard to get 3 of things; like high chairs, car seats, stuff like that!

EXPECTO PATRONUM

So, Neil and I have been listening to Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (again) on CD and I've been thinking about what my patronus would be.
I know it's lame because I won't ever have a real patronus, but I think I'd
want it to be a sugar glider. They are so freaking adorable,
plus they live in Australia, which I want to do again too! Then I thought
Neil could be like a Lion or a Moose or something sweet like that.
According to this sweet quiz, mine would be a Phoenix, which I must
admit is pretty cool, but not as cute as a sugar glider.

Valentines Day Cupcakes

Let me first just say, I don't cook anything ever!  That is not an understatement in any way.  I made dinner for Neil one time and we made dinner together one time.  That's it in 3 years of marriage!  So I decided the perfect Valentines Day present would be to make some Red Velvet cupcakes--from scratch for everyone to enjoy.
I even made 2 types of frosting!  The one on the left is a buttercream frosting, so it's a little more yellow; and the one on the right is the kind my mom always makes, it's my favorite!

Here's the product before I frosted
them. You can't tell very well, but the
little cupcake liners had cute
conversation hearts on them.

The chocolate hearts are from my mom, she gets us those every year, I think we've been getting them since I was born.  Yes, I'd already been eating mine--I couldn't help myself!

The cupcakes definitely weren't anything amazing, but I was super proud of myself for even trying.  Would I do it again?  No Way!  It took me 3 freaking hours to make cupcakes for petes sake!

CUPCAKES!!! Yummy!

There is this awesome blog I just found all about cupcakes, which I'm a huge fan of personally!  They have the coolest pictures and it will make you crave cupcakes!  It's called www.cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com   You all should check it out and then eat cupcakes, that's my plan!
There are two new Utah cupcake bakeries: SugarRush Cupcakes in Sandy and So Cupcake in Salt Lake City!  I can't wait to try them out!  There was a cupcake store in Australia that I really wanted to go to when we were there, but it was closed!!  How sad is that!?  We travel all the way across the world and I didn't even get a cupcake.  (that's not completely true, I did eat 1 cupcake I bought at a patesserie, but it wasn't as good as the kind I wanted to get)

Sean and Brittney's Birthday Celebration

Here's Reagan (left) and Lindsay (right) over at Pop's and LaLa's house for the birthday party on Sunday. Reag is 11 months old and Lins is 7. You'd never guess Lindsay, Ethan, and Alex were preemies and Reagan came right on time!

Here's Ethan and Alex fighting over the phone
Sean got his birthday cake from Dairy Queen because that family is totally obsessed with the DQ, I have to admit, the cake was great! I think he turned 32 this year on the 9th.
Brittney let all the kids blow out her candles, which would've happened anyways, because that's just what they do! Brittney turned 22 on our anniversary (the 5th).

Such a Fun Weekend!!

Friday Night, Neil and I finally went to see Juno and it was amazing!! I love Jason Bateman (from Arrested Development!) and Ellen Page and Michael Cera (also from AD) were so freaking hilarious!! I'd see it again just to hear all of Juno's funny lines!  She better win that Oscar!

Since Neil and I didn't do a ton to celebrate on our actual anniversary, we decided to spend a couple hours at the Day Spa on Saturday morning.  We did the Cozy Couples Retreat at Sego Lily, which was an hour in this amazing huge tub with milk and honey and whatever else in it, and then we had an hour massage too.  It was so relaxing, although the guy massaging me tore my calves up!  I may never walk normally again!
Something else we did that was so great was go to see Joel McHale from The Soup!
He was performing at Wise Guys comedy club in Ogden for whatever reason. He was so f-ing funny.
And then I got to meet him and hug him!  He is seriously so skinny, you have no idea!  I was blushing a bit because I told him how skinny he was and then he was making jokes about it, so I felt a little dumb.  But he was so nice and we had such a blast at his show.
I hate to say it's already over because we just had too much fun.

Super Tuesday

Seeing how Super Tuesday is coming right up, I thought this was interesting and appropriate. My aunt Jan sent it to me; you go to www.votechooser.com and take a 10 question quiz and it tells you who you're most like out of the candidates.
It told me I was most like Huckabee, which is disappointing cause he's crazy as hell! :)

crazy kiddies

Nick and Max have recently started Karate, so they're really into fighting and being very tough! This is the back view of Tinkerbell with her pants on backwards.
Here's the front view...

This is a very messy Reagan at dinner time; You would never believe how much she eats!

Okay, this is a funny story. Olivia just barely got the cutest haircut (about a week ago). Apparently Liv didn't like the new do and she decided to give herself a new haircut. It was about chin length, and now as you can see, it's up to her ears. She's a cute little pixie. You just have to keep her away from those scissors; She cut Tink's hair about a month ago!

Jill's girls

The other night, I had Jill's kids because she had the flu. When it was time to feed Reagan, Tinkerbell would not let me do it! She wanted to do it the whole time; she actually did pretty well too! It made it pretty easy on me, I must say.

Mom

About 2 weeks ago, my darling mother got PRK done on her eyes (it's a type of corrective surgery for vision; like LASIK). She's doing much better now, she only has to wear those hilarious shields when she goes to sleep and she can drive during the day. I just thought this was a funny picture. She was trying to rest and all the kids were climbing all over her, Typical Christensen family.
