Another great summer activity:

Camp Fires!
Here's the boys (Aaron, Neil, Alex) preparing the campfire, they used both the log cabin method AND the tepee to ensure a huge and extra hot fire.

We made the best S'mores and hot dogs ever!

Kitty Bruce with his new Lion hair cut

mmmmmm........ S'mores I think my count was up to 10! That threw my no sugar diet right out the freaking window!

Beat the Heat

I don't know if you've noticed, but it is ridiculously hot lately! I really wish I had a pool that I was in every single day. Maybe I should sign up for swimming lessons...
Here's Tink at her swimming lesson

And Nick at his.

This is the triplet's first time in a swimming pool, we went down to my aunt Connie's amazing pool and they really had a blast!

Missy, Me, and Neil lounging away on the best floaty toys ever!

Dawn's Garden

My mother-in-law is an AMAZING gardener and has gorgeous flowers everywhere, I'm completely jealous of her mad skills! I love gardening-even weeding- but I still seem to kill most things. It's just not meant to be I guess.
Tinkerbell wanted to come with me and Neil over to his parents house once, so we got a couple cute shots of her and some of Neil's nephews in Dawn's garden.

This is my sister Jill's middle child Whitney/Tinkerbell

This is Neil's oldest nephew Henry Dean. I met Neil (and Henry) for the first time when Henry was only two weeks old.

I love this picture of Lewis because he is a mischievous little dude

Proud Papa Pat w/ the newest addition to the family, William.

Happy B-day Hubby

On Thursday, June 19th, it was my husbands twenty sixth birthday! As it seems to be the tradition w/ us, he has had quite a few days of celebrating..
The first party was at his parents house last Sunday. There's Neil, Kurt, Henry, and Dawn.

He even gets to blow out his own candles here! That is quite a novelty.

Neil was actually out of town in Boston most of the week and he got home pretty late on Thursday (his actual b-day) so he just opened few presents, nothing overly exciting since he was so tired from a 5 1/2 hour flight.

Friday we went to the Nordstrom Half-yearly sale and Neil got a few more presents.
Saturday we spent a couple hours at the day spa in a steam room and getting massages.
Sunday, Neil went in to work for a few hours and then my mom made him a special meal of Noodley-Goo and a Funfetti cake (he picked that himself with no hints from me!) He never even sees the candles on his cake, let alone have a chance to blow them out!

Even though we've done several things to celebrate, I have a feeling we're not quite done yet!

Mr. Darcy

My friend Georgy has a very cute little bunny rabbit named Mr. Darcy.
This is him after a hilarious haircut! He looks like he has a giant head or maybe he really does have a giant head!

I like to give him cigarettes, doesn't he look funny!

Okay PETA, keep your vegan pants on. Although I would find it extremely humourous to see any animal smoking a cigarette, Mr. Darcy is not a smoker. He was just eating the end of some celery I gave him. ha ha!

Battle Star Craptica

I don't know what happened, but somehow Neil has become addicted to the stupidest show in the whole GALAXY! It is Battlestar Galactica and it is slowly killing me! He has to watch it in bed every night, which keeps me up due to the annoying-ness of it. I've got to somehow break him of his addiction so that I can get back to my addiction of falling asleep to the sweet sounds of the Simpsons.
If I find out who introduced him to this garbage; you're going down!

H2Ohhhhhh

Bad News: I have a Stress Fracture in my left leg. It really sucks because I'm not supposed to do ANY exercise that puts impact on my leg for like a month!
My mother had a stress fracture once and she kept running (because she's totally obsessive) and went down to do the St. George Marathon and had to drop out because her leg pretty much snapped! So it can get really bad if you're not careful.
This is what it looks like.

So, I've been trying new things such as Pilates and Yoga,

AND WATER AEROBICS!

I'm not crazy about the classes, since it's me with a huge group of 65 year old women and they all stare at my boobs. There actually is one sweet 88 year old man that comes and surprisingly he's the only one that DOESN'T stare at them. Plus all my swimsuits are bikinis except I have 1 that is borderline tankini. So I wear that one to try to avoid the judgmental stares from the grandmas, but the bottoms are too big so I'm constantly pulling them back up where they belong (It's a good thing I'm under water and that these people all have bad vision!)
I'm giving my leg 1 more week to heal (a total of 2 1/2 weeks off of it)and then I'm hitting the gym! I need to burn like 50 times more calories then I can burn in H2O aerobics! I'll take it easy though the first week I'm back, I promise!

The Family

John, Stef, and their little boys came into town this weekend from California so for one whole day (Sunday) we actually had our whole family together!
Here's my mom with all 10 of her grandkids. I think we'll stay at 10 for quite a long time, Stefanie will probably be the one to make it 11! I hope it won't be me adding to the grandkids and REALLY hope it won't be Taylor!

Dane :)

Here's John, Cord, and Dane at Jessie and Brody's wedding (stefs little sister)

Me and McCord at the wedding

Just playing on the swing set

Nick holding baby Dane (he has changed SOOOOO much since I went to see him in April, he looks just like McCord now)

A quick family picture since this is so rare to have everyone together!
