Christmas Day

Christmas is probably the busiest day of the whole year for us. It is pure insanity, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
I actually started off the morning watching Shelley and Sean's family open their presents.
Here's Ethan, Shel, and Linds.
Then I went to Berrie and Jeff's. Liv, Berrie, and Mom.

Jeff playing Max's new drums.

Then Pops played Max's new drums (Max actually didn't even get a turn on his own drums while I was there!)

Then Neil and I finally got around to opening our own presents. We were much too lazy and busy to get a real tree and I really don't want a big, fake tree, so the mini fake is what we did this year.

Neil with some of his presents.

Then we went to my mom and dad's house to see what the Ralph family got from Santa. Nick got this awesome Lego Hogwarts Express.

Grandma CC opening her presents.

Tay was a HUGE fan of Ghostbusters growing up and insisted on being called Peter Venkman for a while...

After that we went to Neil's parents. Neil got a set of sushi knives (he doesn't make sushi, but he wants to learn how).

And a new Glock (it's a gun)

After their house, we went to Grandma CC's house for Christmas lunch.
Ethan and LaLa

Christmas is the perfect day for naps!

Grandma CC and my cousin's beautiful baby CoCo.

Diane's family bought grandma a new laptop for Christmas and even though she has no idea how to use it, she was very excited!

And I got to meet (and hold) Madi and Rand's teeny baby Lula.
After Grandma CC's house, we went to Neil's Grandma Lyril's house for Christmas dinner. I was the LIFE of the party!
Then we went and saw The Fighter with Blake and Jessica and it was AWESOME!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent with my family opening sibling gifts, getting a new Christmas ornament and jammies from my parents.
Berrie (or Jeff, Max, or Liv) got me this cute Jessica Simpson purse.
Jill (actually I think it was Reagan who had Neil's name) bought Neil a nice new shirt and tie. Neil LOVES getting new cute work clothes.
All my older siblings had some darling pictures taken of all the grandkids this summer and gave the pictures to my parents. They're seriously adorable.
Berrie and Tuffers. (Tuff and Rocket also exchanged presents)

Max got some SWEET Harry Potter Legos!

The little girls all got cute little Asian jammies that my mom bought in New York last month.

The whole family (minus the California crew, and Jeff and my Dad)

Reags was OUT!

Christmas Eve Eve

Or Christmas Adam, if you prefer...
We had our annual Christmas Bingo party at Pat and Dawn's last night.

Everyone
Playing BINGO!

Neil picking his surprise present after winning Bingo

Neil and I with our Bingo winnings. I got a MAC makeup brush (well, actually, Neil's cousin got the brush but she knew I wanted it really bad and she's apparently the nicest person ever so she traded me!!!) Neil got a little flashlight, an iTunes card, and some gloves.

Before the trade...

After the trade...

Neil and I in front of one of the many Christmas Trees at the Johnson's.

Neil's cousin Mapu and his girlfriend, Katia. Katia is from Russia and the AK 47 she's holding was actually made in her own home town!

This Bingo party is one of my very favorite Christmas traditions!

December 22, 2010

Neil's brothers and sisters get together every year around Christmas to have a party and hang out together instead of giving presents. This year we had everyone over to our house and we all had so much fun!
We played Catch Phrase (while I held Lola, of course)

More Catch Phrase

Then we played LCR, a money winning game. Neil won the first round!

And Blake's girlfriend Jessica won the 2nd round!

We missed Jedd and Stella this year because they're having Christmas in California, but we had a blast anyways!!

Ta Da Ta Da!!

The other night, my niece and nephews had their Christmas gymnastics show.
They were darling and so excited to show off.

I took about a hundred pics of their hour long show, but these are really the only ones that weren't too blurry.

School

The last couple of weeks has been so busy that I forgot to post my annual Nutcracker Field Trip pictures.
We were the first group to get to The Capitol Theater, so we got to sit on the front few rows of the balcony.
My kids LOVED it!

As the only dance teacher this year, I put on the Holiday Dance concert all by myself this year. It actually went pretty well! Neil was doing the filming, so he didn't get any still shots for me to put on the blog, but my kids were cute and they danced well. I'm glad I'm off for 2 weeks though and I know they are too after all the work they put into the concert!
