Easter

Easter Sunday, we woke up and went to my parents house so we could find our Easter basket.

Then we went to Neil's parent's house for Easter dinner where Henry was eager to show off his massive bruise that he got from falling off the deck at his house. He told his classmates that he got attacked by a cougar- which is a much better story :)

Blake was home from Canada on his spring break. Here he is with baby Lola.

In addition to having Easter festivities all weekend, we had a ton of other [fun] stuff to do!

I went out with some of my gym friends to celebrate Diane's birthday.
From l to r there's Jenny, Allison, Diane, Katie, Kelsey, Me, Sandra, Jen, and Michelle

2 of my amazing friends from work graduated with their masters degree this weekend, so we got to go celebrate with them.
(I can't name all these people)

Legacy Girls: Me (the GIANT), Nicole, Annie, and Kacey. I'm only 5'7" and I don't consider that to be tall... at least compared to most people!

Then we got to dye the eggs so that the Easter Bunny could come and hide them around the house. I think there's one still missing actually-- that's the problem with hiding real eggs!

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday, we had our family easter egg hunt down at CoCo's house.
The kids love running around her HUGE yard finding eggs with tons of candy, toys, and money hidden!

More Birthday

So, I had to work on my birthday, as most adults do. BUT, it was only sort of work because I got to take my dance classes on a field trip to The Capitol Theatre to see Ballet West again!

After the performance, I took them to the park so they could eat their lunch and it was such a nice day!


At night on my birthday, Pat and Dawn took us out to dinner and that was really great too.

Then I went home and opened my presents. Neil accidently wrapped some of his new clothes in with mine :)

Oh yeah- AND I went out to dinner with some friends to Thaifoon last night to celebrate, but the pictures turned out all blurry!

Wonderful BIRTHDAY Weekend!!

Today is my 27th birthday! That sounds really weird! I usually try to stretch my birthday celebrations out as long as possible, so the parties started on Friday. Friday morning, I woke up and Neil had some papers out for me. He had instructions for me and then 3 envelopes with surprises in them. It was a really fun and exciting day (and also very relaxing since surprise #1 was a massage!) We also got to play our Favorite game, DOMINOS! Then we spent all day Saturday with Allison because it was show time again! Jenny Ray and I went over early in the morning to help with getting ready and making some oatmeal pancakes. I think they're feeding each other in this picture. Getting ready backstage. Allison took 3rd place and we were all so freaking proud and excited! Here she is with the 1st and 2nd placers. A bunch of our gym friends also came to the show to watch Allison and all the other hotties!


On Sunday, we had our usual family party but this year, I fought to blow out my own candles :) More to come on my birthday...

Lately

I've gotten in a really bad habit of NOT taking pictures! We've actually been doing some really fun things lately and I just don't even think to grab my camera!

Neil and I went to Michele and Lonnie's house for Michele's birthday party. Since I didn't take any pictures, I stole this from Michele's facebook. Some of the hotties that came to play at the fun party- Michele, Allison, Ashley, and Jenny.

We went out to eat with Kelsey and Alex at the Cheesecake Factory...

And went to A Taste of India the night before.

A few weeks back, we went to Kelsey and Alex's to make fondue (it was not nearly as easy as The Melting Pot makes it seem!!)
Missy and Aaron came too and it was fun to watch all the crazy kids play together.

Tyce found this hat and binki in his toychest and I thought it was so hilarious!! Especially with his ears folded over :)


And the boys got to cuddle up and play nintendo like old times.
