My party planner aunt Kathy threw a shower for my cousin Erica last Saturday. Erica was asking me if my shower induced labor for me, which it definitely didn't, but she was hoping it would for her. Well, I guess it worked because she had her little boy the next day!

4 Months Old

Barrett had his 4 month birthday on Sunday. It kills me that it's all going so fast!

His "well baby" appointment went well, he loved the crinkle paper!

He is 25.7 inches long (78th Percentile)

15 pounds (50th percentile)

His head is 42 centimeters (40th percentile)

PT

Physical therapy for Barrett's torticollis has been going really well. We've had 4 appointments so far I think, and Caitlyn thinks we'll only have 1 or 2 more!

She gives us stretches and exercises to do with him every time we go and we've tried to make sure we get them done- although it's gotten really hard now that I'm back at work.

Caitlyn is so cute and she is awesome with Barrett!

Great Grandma Lyril

Neil's grandma Lyril hadn't seen Barrett since he was in the hospital and his aunts hadn't seen him since Christmas, so we decided we'd better go reintroduce him to them.

Here's Bear with Alayne and Lyril. He was giving his great grandma so many smiles- it was adorable!

St. Patrick's Party

Courtney and Joe invited up to their place in Logan for a fun St. Patrick's Day celebration on Saturday.

The kids were running around like crazy 99% of the time, I caught a few of them in this rare sitting still moment.

It's Jeanette's birthday on the 19th, so Court made her a birthday cake.

Bring Your Baby To Work Day

Today was a teacher prep day since it was the end of 3rd term on Friday so we had a baby day at work. We had a baby shower for Erika and me, Kacey, and Nicole brought our boys to the party too. Erika is having a girl and is due in 6 short weeks!

Everyone was pretty excited to see and hold the baby boys! Kathleen is holding Barrett and Janine is holding Elias.

Zeek is almost 7 weeks, Eli is 6 weeks, and Barrett is almost 4 months!

New Things

Barrett is growing and changing so much everyday and he's always doing something cute and learning new things! I need to take about a million more pictures of him every single second!

He's started to really like tummy time.

2 1/2 weeks ago he held his own bottle for the first time!

He really loves grabbing his toes. (It was Wednesday when he was wearing that Wednesday undershirt, by the way. I promise I don't make him wear the same onesie every day! I was always suspicious of people who wore their days of the week underpants on the wrong days... Have they been wearing those since that day? Do they know what day it really is? Do they even know the days of the week!?)

He's started to learn how to grab toys too!

He started sitting in his bumbo last week too and he has lots of fun in there! His shirt (which says "feed me!") is extremely appropriate for him. If you've ever tried to take food away from him or take too long to give it to him, you've seen him turn into baby hulk!

Still Got It!

The last time I tried hula hooping was at last year's end of school party at Legacy. I was 3 months pregnant and even though my belly wasn't too big yet, it was big enough to put my skills on hold. Today I tried again and luckily, I'm still a champion- although I've definitely met my match with Nicholas! Since we'd been going for so long, we decided to have a staring contest at the same time to make it harder. Eventually, I just quit so I could go eat dinner.

I'm glad to know my skills were only gone temporarily!

The boys played some basketball too, which I know Neil hasn't done in years!!

General Dentistry

Since my dad is super smart and the greatest dentist on the planet, he often does research and writes articles about cool new things. He's had quite a few of his articles published in peer-reviewed dental journals and this month he not only had his article in another journal but the picture he took is on the cover!
