McCall and Neil's Super Fun Blog

Yesterday Eden and I were playing in the tub and as she was smiling and laughing, I saw that her two bottom teeth were coming through! That could explain why she's been waking up 4-5 times each night for the last four days!

Christmas morning went a little differently than we expected it to...
First, Neil woke me AND Eden up at about 6:30 so we could be up before Bear gets out of bed at 7:00.  7:00 came and went and Bear just kept sleeping.  Then Neil wanted to wake HIM up! You can see who the excited one was around here! I said NO WAY, he NEVER sleeps past 7, so he must need the sleep, he'll get up soon I'm sure.  And he did.  I think he came downstairs around 7:20 or something.
He got some really fun presents and loved them even though he didn't always look overly excited.

Eden got some fun things too.
She would've been fine to just get edible wrapping paper. (Does that exist?!)

Neil and I got some good stuff from Cutco!  My favorite knife and scissors.

Neil upgraded his headphones to Bose noise cancelling ones.  They are pretty amazing, I must admit.

And I got a pair of Frye boots which I've wanted basically forever!

Bear decorated the wrapping paper of the gift he made for us.
Bear made us this darling decoration at preschool and we waited until Christmas morning to open it. I LOVE it!

Eden got a Baby Huggums doll which I also had when I was a baby :)

Our awesome stockings.  My Grandma GiGi made the ones on the left and my aunt Diane made the ones on the right.


Bear got a Yoda Pez in his, he loves that stuff!

We normally only do candy in our stockings, but I had a few small things that I didn't want to wrap, so they went in the stockings.
Neil got an iTunes giftcard.
I got some fancy deoderant, a MAC eyeshadow palette, and an iTunes giftcard too.

And my Grandma GiGi had my aunt Diane make Eden a stocking of this color too, so now we all have 2 stockings, a set in each color!  I love them!
My mom got Eden a watch just like hers because she likes to eat it so much.

Everyone came back over Christmas morning for MORE presents!  We are WAY too spoiled.

Then we went to Grandma CC's house for lunch.  This is one of Eden's cute new outfits from LaLa and one of the bows from Stefanie (Eden is sitting so well now!)

Bear and Lula sat and had a lot of fun together.

Jill finally got Eden to sleep, she was exhausted but with so many people around, I could not get her to sleep!

And then Jason came over to visit and we snuck in some domino time!

Acting out the nativity is a newer tradition but the kids usually really like it.


Then we did the gift exchange.

Dane got Eden a cute new outfit and headbands.

Taylor got Bear this playmobil dragon that went perfectly with his playmobil castle that he got the next day.

He also got him this cute doggy that flips and barks.  Bear would open every present he got and hold it up with no expression on his face even when he loved the gifts!

Lindsay and Reagan got matching bags they could color themselves.

Taylor gave every family a mousepad with a picture of him and Jason on it.

Tink gave me an adorable shirt!

Nick gave Neil an xbox gift card but he wrapped it about 20 times and laughed so hard as Neil was opening it.


Pops and Lala gave all the grandkids new slippers.



And we got our new ornaments.

We bought mom and dad a new toaster since theirs isn't working very well anymore.
