More fun with the kids

Andrew and Bryson love to dress up. Levi's belt is one of there favorite things to play with. Bryson is sporting some of his Papas old fatigues.
This picture I must dedicate to Marcy because this was the scene the morning after she and I were discussing children climbing into bed. Andrew doesn't usually join in, but he just asked so sweetly. Levi was a little surprised in the morning when he saw the whole clan at his side. (They stretch out once Levi and I get out of bed)
Catherine has started to help in the kitchen. She actually does a really good job. The sweet fun just continues with her.

Here are my cute kids!

I think she was trying out my carmel sauce in this pictrure. I'm sure Catherine loves family night because she gets to try all sorts of good stuff.

This is about the sweetest thing for a mother. Little girl and Daddy playing the piano together. The fact that she even has super cute pigtails in the picture is a bonus.
He really is a stud!
He is too.

Small and Simple Things

This past summer my friend Sara so graciously let us use part of her backyard for our garden. This is the little cantaloupe we got. Mater helps you see how small it really was. The kids loved eating it up. You heard things like, "I ate five whole slices!" It was fun.

We have a new pet tortoise. We brought him home when he was less than a week old. On our way home from picking him up we unanimously decided his name would be Rocky. Rocky is the one with spots. His shell is a little bumpy and uneven and so we thought the name fit him well. We also have Speedy. He belongs to my friend Sara, but he is a birthday present for her son at the beginning of Nov. The Keys help show how little they really are. I know the picture is side ways, but you can get the point. Oh, and we really don't know if Rocky is a boy or girl. We still don't even know if Junior is a boy or girl. Time will tell.

Conference Weekend

I usually have mixed feelings about conference weekend, because by the end of Sunday the kids are all competing for our attention. Today it went well. I decided to make it a little extra fun and made some very yummy Cinnamon and sugar muffins. Those definitely went over well and we will be making more in the morning. The next fabulous thing was that conference was actually on cable. I turned on channel two and there it was. Well, until 2:00 and then it was back to the local calender.

My whole point of bringing up conference was to share some of the cute things the kids did during conference. Levi had the camera at the band competition and so I had to log these in my brain. My favorite was Catherine dancing to the organ and the choir singing the hymns. When a song would end, or she couldn't hear the organ anymore she would start signing for more.

My next favorite was listening to Andrew sing with the children's choir in the afternoon.

Last, but not least is Bryson finding a way to entertain himself and taping his face. He is no Pee Wee Herman, but he comes close sometimes. We all love to watch his facial expressions as he peels the tape off.

I hope that you all had just as "fun" of a day as we had:)

P.S. Yannette, those cookies can be very dangerous!
