Backyard
I took on the task of making the back yard a better place for the kids to play. The grass was crabgrass and there were a lot of bare spaces that turned to mud when it rained. It also was very rutty due to the rain washing out the area with little or no grass.
This is the "before picture". I cut down the trees, except for the two large ones on the left. 
We had a landscaper come in and re-grade the area. I wanted the old playground area moved to the left to give more of an open area for the kids to play.
Here is the finished "phase one" product.My Dad and I put the brick down to outline the new playground area. We had 15 palettes of new sod put down. We also has more gravel put down by the barn due to it being washed away over time.

Zoo/Easter Picture Time
We were unable to go to the zoo the day before his birthday, so we went this past Saturday and had breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Of course he was afraid of the bunny, so I had to hold him in the picture. Then we see one of the Zoo staff holding a snake and Camden doesn't hesitate to touch it. So snake...good, someone in a bunny suite...not good. I will try to post Birthday pictures sometime in the next few days. Love, Chris.
