HELLO! I know right! Not only have I neglected this blog, I also didn’t sync my phone for half a year. Shucks!
This is not an excuse but I was extremely busy, especially Q1. Imagine working 7 days a week, more than 12 hours a day. No life siol.
Since I’m not that busy now, I’ll spend some time to sort out 2,000+ photos and update this space.

Day 1 – Flight
22nd September 2015, Tuesday
Dinner (BKT) at the airport.
It’s my first out-of-Asia trip! Watched Inside Out and slept throughout the flight.
Day 2 – The Proposal
23rd September 2015, Wednesday
SmartGate: self-service passport processing.
Faster immigration clearance but a little upset as there isn’t any “chop-chop” on passport.

A cup of hot latte from AXIL to keep the body warm.
Lunch at the famous Chin Chin.
I didn’t have good appetite that day so I couldn’t say much. Apparently the rest didn’t enjoy the food there too.
Visited The State Library of Victoria.
Also known as the central library.
Churros next, at San Churro.
Quite disappointing, or perhaps we have very high expectation.
Shuyi’s friend Clara, who is studying there, came to date her in order to give us opportunity to prepare for the proposal.

Main objective of this trip achieved! Congratulations, silly&tall-couple!

Day 3 – Otway Fly Treetop Adventures
24th September 2015, Thursday
Supposed to meet at 6am (4am in SG) but all of us overslept, ha!
OOTD.
Other than Yeowkwang and Maybritte, the rest of us went for zip-line.
I survived with some screams, LOL!

Time passed really fast with few hours drive here and there. Before the sky turned dark, we had dinner at La Bimba (near our accommodation).

Day 4 – Great Ocean Road
25th September 2015, Friday

Some had Peppermint, some had Peanut Butter, all tasted better than those common flavours that are available in Singapore. Time to drive back to the city.

La Porchetta’s pizzas for our late dinner, or rather, supper.
Unsatisfying! The pizzas were too salty.
Day 5 – Sovereign Hill
26th September 2015, Saturday
The morning view.
Shunqiang, who is currently having his pilot training there, joined us for Sovereign Hill. Before we made our trip there, he bought some nice dumplings for breakfast.
Took this while the guys were cleaning up. All are 好男人!

They have BlackBall as well and I ordered warm fresh milk with mini taro balls.

Day 6 – Puffing Billy & Brighton Beach
27th September 2015, Sunday
Shunqiang and his friend joined us again to take the choo-choo train.
Went to get tickets first.
Miss Marple’s in the plan for brunch.
But the queue is freaking long and we couldn’t afford to wait for an hour. Sad! We walked into another cafe nearby, Ripe, and their baguette was good!

Day 7 – Phillip Island
28th September 2015, Monday
A cuppa to start the day, from Dukes.
In fact I had been drinking latte or flat white every morning in Melbourne, their coffee is cheap and good, each cuppa costs about 3-4 bucks on average.
Bumped into Jeanette Aw.
She was there filming for Dream Makers 2. Heard Rui En was there as well but why we didn’t see her?!
All ready for Penguin Parade!
We were dressed up to look like clumsy penguins, ha!

We paid more for the Guided Ranger Tour, worth it for the once in a lifetime experience! I was really fascinated even though I got kinda bored after awhile.

Rushed back to city for our late dinner, thankfully Joo Mak was still opened! Thanks to Clara for the wonderful recommendation.

Day 8 – Queen Victoria Market
29th September 2015, Tuesday
The early “birds”, and non-lazy ones.
We walked to Queen Vic, while the other 2 overslept couples drove.
Doughnuts for breakfast!
Flat White from Market Lane Coffee, good!
After filling our stomach with simple breakfast, the rest also reached and we did some market shopping for the feast that night.
Before that, some fresh raw oysters first! Slurps!
I believe the tall couple had fun marinating the 2 chickens.
We went to return the rented car after we were more or less done with the preparation.

If you’re wondering where’s VxW, they went shopping. Okay, back to our apartment, Shunqiang and Clara also joined us for the feast.

Day 9 – Home Sweet Home
30th September 2015, Wednesday
Good breakfast and quick shopping with Chuxiang, Vandra and Wilson on the last day. Yeowkwang couldn’t wake up that early and Woonlan’s legs pain.
Really love the weather there, albeit chilly.
Lobster Benedict @ The Hardware Societe
The Hardware Societe is a rustic-chic cafe that serves reasonably priced yet awesome breakfast. Another good recommendation by Clara. She also raved about Short Stop’s donuts.
Bought half a dozen back to share with the rest.
A little rush for us as we had to leave by noon and Pandora opens at 11am.
Scored my birthstone (sapphire) charm and 4 rings.
It’s so much cheaper there! Furthermore the exchange rate was AUD1 to SGD1.
It’s also my first holiday that I don’t need to expand it.
Couldn’t sleep during the flight back so I watched 2 movies:
1. Fast & Furious 7
2. Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen
I cried at the last scene of Fast 7 (Paul Walker’s). I also cried badly while watching Frogmen. Crybaby, jialat!
