September (again)

It has been a very very long time since I have posted anything. Well I was on a friends site and decided I will start posting my gym workouts and weight loss again. I started a new diet that takes out all caffeine including tea, soda, and chocolate. I have been sticking with it for about a week and half and feel great. Hopefully I can keep it up and start seeing some results.

Slowly... very slowly melting away....

I went in 2 weeks ago for my weekly weigh in and was a little nervous because the previous week was such a crazy week. It was the first week of school and my schedule was thrown a little off. I hadn't had time for breakfast and there was little to no time to scarf down a lunch not to mention being way too tired to get to the gym every day like I had during the summer. Needless to say I ended up gaining a pound which I was not very happy about but better 1 pound than 10. This last week I was able to stick to a more "normal" schedule and get to the gym every day. So far I have lost a total of 45 pounds. My goal is to loose another 55 by December 31st so that I can officially loose 100 lbs in 7 months. My trainer has been a huge motivator for me and is just wonderful. If you are looking to join a gym and need a trainer I recommend going to Pure Fitness on Alma School and Elliot and ask for Rachel. She is amazing!!! Anyway, here's to another week of gym adventures and teaching excitement :)

Another One Bites the Dust. . . .



Alrighty I know it has been a while since I have last blogged but I am going to make a huge effort to try and post something at least once a week. ( I will try my hardest) So this summer I have seen more movies than I have all year. This past weekend I went with some friends and saw Mama Mia. Needless to say it wasn't what I was expecting. I laughed through the entire movie along with a couple shakes of the head not believing what I was seeing. I think if they would have cast someone other than Meryl Streep in the lead role it might have helped the cause. Oh well it was a fun time had by all.


On a happier note Friday at midnight was the release of Breaking Dawn the final Stephanie Meyer book in the vampire series. I went and got my copy at 12:30am and that began my day of reading minus the hour gym session and 5 or 6 hours of sleep. I finished the book and can not wait for the movie to come out in December. The fourth book is by far the best one and definitely sums up a lot of unexplained questions. Happy Reading!

A Little Time to Relax

Yea summer school is finally over and I have officially ended my school year of teaching. Since I will be teaching first grade next year I have much preparing to do and can't quite stop thinking about what I want to do and coming up with little ideas here and there. I did however decide that I need to take a good week break off from thinking, going in, or driving by the school :) We'll see if that happens.

20 and counting....

Alrighty I am giving this blog thing a try and hopefully keep up with it. Today was the end to my first full month of working out at the gym and eating better. I have lost more than 20 lbs and all together have lost 14 inches off my total body. I haven't lost as much as I want on my legs and hips but that is what next month is for. I can't wait to loose the next 20 plus!!!! Thanks to everyone for all the support.
