Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Busy, busy month I'd say. December came and went. We had some snow here in Jersey (a very little bit) and then we were off to Texas for Christmas. We survived the airplane rides and even left with compliments from other passangers on how great our kids did. Lots of fun family time. The boys made out like bandits on Christmas. Man these kids are spoiled. Another great year with lots of memories.
Boston throwing a snow ball.Opening presents from Grandma Lisa & Papa Joe. Batman pajamas!

Diego, Rendon loved it.
Boston decorated the Christmas tree at Grandma & Papa Ross' house. Great job son.
He got a belated birthday gift in the mail from Aunt JuLee and Uncle Grady. He had to blow up the balloon and then pop it. Money, woo hoo! Loot from Santa, oh and Grandma & Papa Ross.
A little note left from Santa, and a bear that read The Night Before Christmas.
Look at all of this stuff. It took a suit case and a half just to get it home. Merry Christmas, do we look tired? Sarah and Loren's Christmas breakfast. Blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon, sasage and so on. It was aweseom. Rompin' around in thier new super hero pj's. The Hulk and Batman.
Boston was looking forward to this all week. He got his own apple juice flying to Texas so he couldn't wait to get one coming home. Our flight was a 9:30pm- 1am flight. He was so excited he couldn't lie still even though he was so tired. He kept standing on the seat to see how close the flight attendances were with the drinks. We were all the way in the back. Here he is after he fell asleep.
We made it home. Look how tired that guy is.
Thank goodness for this. The flight had lots of empty seats so it made for easy sleeping for the boys and very little stress for mom and dad.

Updates coming soon

Hey guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know we had a great Christmas here in Texas with John's family. It's been a while since I updated so I thought I would leave a little something. We're flying home tonight so I should be able to get pictures up soon. Lots of love and I hope everyone had a great holiday.

Just thought I'd add a couple pictures of our cute kids.

Thanksgiving Madness!

Happy belated Thanksgiving Ya'll. Our day was a bit busy so I apologize for not calling anyone that day, including family. I know, sad. It was pretty eventful though. We spent our Thanksgiving in NY this year. It's been one of my dreams to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. This year it came true.
On the train heading to NY. I didn't find out until we got to the apartment in NY but the train station (Penn Station) was on high alert for a possible terrorist threat. There were police, bomb dogs, National Guard, and men with Sniper guns patrolling the station. That made me so sick to my stomach. There were still tons of people there though. Nobody seemed bothered by it. It was even weirder to get back the night of Thanksgiving and hear about the attacks in India.

One hour 'till the parade starts. See the temperature? This is how crowded it was one hour before starting.

This video is of where I was but also secretly to tape this girl who had been there since 5:30am saving a spot for her mom in a wheel chair, her dad and sister. Unfortunetly for her family they didn't arrive until 9am (the time the parade started). She was trying desperatly to get her family up there but there was just no way. There were TONS of people. There were also these jerks who would not move aside to let the family through. Finally, they managed to get the police involved and they made a path to get them though. It was nuts. The family was all crying and the crowed was cheering for them. Only in New York I guess. Here it goes! Yeah!Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana.
The cast of Sesame Street. Idina Menzel from the movie Enchanted. She was also Elphaba in the original broadway show Wicked (which I still wanna see on Broadway before I leave). David Archuleta from American Idol. Country star Trace Adkins. "That Honkey Tonk Badonkadonk"!
This is were I stood, 66th St. & Central Park West.
These guys (NYPD) were patrolling up and down the parade the whole time. Miss America.
Ashanti not being a crowd pleaser. There were much more pictures but these were ones that stood out to me. After 2 hours of the parade I was pretty much done. I had already been there standing in the same spot NOT MOVING for 4 hours. There was an hour left of the parade and I didn't want to deal with the crowd when it was over. Off I go to try and find the subway. Found it, right down the street from the parade. Oh, and across the street from the temple. Sorry the tree is in the way. Walking down the street to Chelsea and Bryants apartment. Pretty huh? The view from there living room window.
My cous Chelsea. She's so pretty. The guys kickin' it. Thanks for letting us stay guys. I had to get this. Check out her screen saver (those are bubbles floating around). I asked what Bryant thought about it and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "Whatever".
Eating our Thanksgiving dinner in the apartment common room. We had us, my cousin and husband, there friends up stairs, that friends bro and sis inlaw and 4 sister missionarys. Great crowd, it was lots of fun. Lots of food too. Check out all this pie. Can you believe I didn't even get a piece. I was in such a hurry trying to get the kids packed up and back to the train station that I never sat down and had some. Bummer. Chelsea was totally going to give us one to take home, but our hands were already too full.

Coming home on the train. Coming home was cake. The train station was dead and there was a very small amount of people on the train. Nice! What a fun, crazy, entertaining, and busy trip.
