We  got to watch fireworks at Boom City this year. Boom City is located on tribal land and there are hundreds of firework vendors. They sell fireworks that are illegal in the state but are not illegal on tribal land. Next to the vendor field is a half a football size field where people can enter at "their own risk" to light their awesomeness. It was great fun standing in this smoke and watching people light off their hundreds of dollars worth of fireworks and we didn't have to spend a penny :) We also stood right next to the field, watching the fireworks explode feet in front of us :)

The Frongner's have an awesome hill that Scott has been enjoying riding down. The other night we brought his bike over for him to play on the hill after dinner. The kids loved playing in our truck and racing with Scott. :)

On Friday we went to a play in the park in Arlington. The play was Two Men of Verona. It was hilarious and they did an amazing job, especially considering it was free!

We brought a picnic dinner of leftovers and ate before the performance.

The Frongner's came and joined in the fun with us too :)

After the play all the "kids" played on the Merry Go Round :D Scott was more than ecstatic about finding a park with a "whirly gig"

He and Nathan had Kristen and I pretty freaked out at the speed they were able to get the wheel to go. We decided that crazy daddy's are the reason that most Merry Go Rounds are outlawed... :)

So we are back in Marysville, WA now, hooray! Scott found out today that his next project instal is in Renton, WA. It's 10 machines and the company started working on the project around November. Scott's excited to help with the pneumatics and is really excited to stay in Washington as well as work with some great people. His amazing project manager from his Wichita project will be on this new project with him, along with others he has enjoyed working with. He has a really interesting job that will take us places but we're grateful to know that we'll get to stick around Washington while we figure out this parenting thing :)
We were able to transfer doctors rather easily but did have some excitement. We had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and they weren't able to get a good view of the heart. So last week at my first appointment here in Washington they set up another ultrasound to check the baby's heart. They were still unable to see everything clearly so I was referred to the fetal specialists in the building. We had an ultrasound with them this morning and everything looks great. They were able to get some really good shots of the heart and they reassured us that all is well :)  These scenic pictures are of our drive in (above and below) to the doctors office. The two below are shots from the waiting room.

I feel so blessed to be home. It's been GREAT to get things situated and cleaned up before I loose all my energy...if I ever do :) We are blessed with some amazing people in our lives and have been given so many things for baby already. We can't wait to meet baby but are totally willing to be patient so it can finish cooking :) Sorry for the lack of posts! We're back now and will keep you updated :)

We've enjoyed getting to spend time with Kristen and Nathan and the kids since we've been home!!!!!!! Scott just had to join in on the fun of biking down their steep hill when we went over for dinner :) Cracks me up, that tall skinny guy on that itty bitty bike. Hilarious! Enjoy!

We were in Kansas for the last five and a half months. I didn't feel real safe posting stuff about our location while we were gone. We kept our rental and moved back in a few weeks ago. I didn't want to publicize the fact that the rental was vacant with all our stuff in it...:) So here we go! Let's catch you up :)
We lived at an extended stay hotel-StayBridge Suites. It was really nice and we got fed hot breakfasts daily as well as dinner Tues-Thurs. It made it oh so nice while I was morning sick. Scott still got to eat real food and not just mac n cheese every day (which he does love, so he will survive when this happens).
Teancum survived our stay. She may have gotten some of the maids a little "excited" when we first moved in, but by the time we left they had warmed up to each other. :) We kind of miss having her in the middle of our living space. Now she's back in her corner in the kitchen, she seems kind of grumpy about it herself.
Isn't it hilarious how she folds herself in half in her bowl? This is her "Get me a real salad" face. I do believe that is why she is folded into the bowl too, because that will of course make the salad come faster :)
She enjoyed getting out of her tank to hang out with daddy. Me and baby kept our distance (lizards have a chance of carrying salmonella) usually though, she doesn't seem to mind though. She likes Scott better anyway, haha.
She also shed a little while we were there. This was my favorite. she couldn't get it off her head and stayed like this for a least a day.
It was nice and windy in Wichita so I went and got us kites. Scott had not flown a real kite in his life, so it was fun getting to do that! We had made kites from garbage bags and paper a few years ago with Dan and Patty but this was his first time getting to really FLY a kite :)

While Scot was installing the machine/working I waited for him to come home to the hotel :) So I crafted a lot of the time. I made this racetrack for Eli and Dan :)
I made a lot of these adorable owl hats for family. I'm going to start making them to sell :)
I also made carseat covers for Lindsey and Tina.

We found a nature park a few blocks from the apartment and spent an afternoon there. It had lots of turtles and ducks :) It made me excited for adventures with our baby when Scott takes us more places for business trips :)

We experienced our first ice storm together while in Wichita. I got some cool pictures of that...
