Week 14

Mensa

Jeremy and I are lucky to go to the Italian Cafeteria (Mensa) a few days/week for lunch.  The food is great and always interesting!  I love how creative they get with vegetables and the options are so much healthier than a typical American lunch.  Also, you get more food than I can eat for less than 5 euro!

Boxing
Connor has been doing boxing for the last couple of months.  I finally worked up the courage to go watch him one night.

It was hard to watch but I am glad that Connor is liking it and that he's learning some important skills!
Bantams Basketball Team
Aiden is also in basketball right now.  Unfortunately I haven't been able to go to one of his games yet.  Jeremy and I are usually split between him and Whitney.

Doesn't he look cute in his uniform!?! :)

Week 13

Pee Wee's Basketball Team

Whitney is on a basketball team!  It is just about the cutest thing ever and her poor coach....  oh my!

We are starting to feel a little more settled in our new home, however, I'm not sure we are ever going to be 100% settled!  We couldn't wait to have our friends from the hotel over to see them again though.

Even Anna came to visit us!!!  It was great to see her!

Week 12

15 year Anniversary!

Our Anniversary fell on a week day so we took the whole family to a restaurant in our little town to celebrate.

I can't believe it's been 15 years...  it seems like just yesterday!

Pizza with proscuitto and asparagus... yum!

I loved sitting at my table and watching my pizza being cooked
Asiago
Over the weekend Jeremy and I got to get away to go on a quick day trip to Asiago.

We had a delicious lunch ready for us at a beautiful restaurant

This was my favorite by far!!
This doesn't look anything like it, but it tasted just like lasagna

All the components of a beef stew without the broth... interesting
Devine!

It was a beautiful day and a wonderful place to celebrate our day!

Next stop was a cheese factory

So many different types of cheese!

We walked through the town to do some shopping when we met this lady.  Her Father took pictures of the Italian Army in the 1930s with the camera in the background.  Jeremy was fascinated by the pictures and the stories behind them.  We had to bring a few home to remember our time in Asiago!
A memorial built for thousands of Italian Soldiers that were killed.  Their bodies were gathered from all around and brought here to be buried.

The view from the top was breathtaking!
It was a very much needed day away and a day with my sweetheart to forget about moving and just remember how much we love each other.  So glad he's still my best friend!

Week 11

New Year's Eve/Connor's Birthday
We were invited to some friends house to celebrate New Year's Eve so we decided to celebrate Connor's birthday there too!

I can't believe my baby is a TEENAGER!!

Their daughter is in Whitney's class at church and school... they are so cute!

This little guy LOVES Connor!!

Trying to stay up until Midnight

AD and AJ!

The girls put on a Frozen "consert" for us ;)
Fireworks outside their house at Midnight!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Connor's OTHER Birthday Party
Over the weekend we took Connor and a couple of this friends bowling for his birthday.

Connor has made some really good friends here!
I'm so proud of the person you're growing up to be Connor!  Please don't ever change!!
