Christmas Eve

Oh, how sweet they are...ready to go to church. Say cheese! Hey, Austin, let go of your brother's ear! Santa saw that!!!

Ho Ho Ho

Here we are with the "big guy" who holds all the ropes....Santa. Braeden was so tempted to pull on that beard, but he knew that Santa might not bring him presents if he did. Austin walked right up, got in Santa's lap, and started chatting away in Santa-ese. He started with "ho ho ho" and then began to sing "Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the waaaayyyy!" I think that Santa was impressed with both of them, and hopefully he'll bring them both lots of presents. Merry Christmas to all!!

Austin turns TWO!!

Well, the big day has finally come and gone! Austin's second birthday started off with some two shaped pancakes, a family tradition in our household. He then practiced blowing out a two shaped candle in preparation for the big party. We celebrated his birthday with his best buddy Owen (since they are only a few days apart). It was a football party, with a football field (Owen's name in one endzone, Austin's in the other endzone) and all sorts of fun activities outside. There were tons of kids, and so much fun had by all! We are so proud to call you our son Austin, even when you act like a two year old (which is a whole lot lately!). We wouldn't trade you for anything. We love you big guy! Happy Birthday!

Peek A Boo!

The Boppy is such a versatile pillow. It is used for so many things. Here is just one of the many uses around our house...a game of Peek-a-boo! I see you!

Liam's Birthday Party

Here I am at my buddy Liam's birthday party. He is the first of 4 friends with birthday's close together. We had so much fun playing in Noah's ark. You can see my best buddies Liam, Owen, and Addison in the picture with me. Party party party!!

Feeding the Ducks

Hi there! Mommy, Braeden, and I went to feed the ducks! It was so much fun, and I wasn't scared at all. I even let the ducks take the bread straight from my hand. I walked like a duck, practiced my quacking, and chased the poor things all around the lake. We saw turtles, and they even came up to eat the bread. It was a busy, but fun day.

Frosty the snowman

Here sits Austin...reading his absolutely favorite book, Frosty The Snowman. He has had this book as a favorite for a year now, and he can sing the words perfectly! Frosty the snowman, was a jolly, happy soul, with a corncob pipe and a button nose, and two eyes made out of coal. (We saw that our buddy Will enjoys this book too! You have very good taste in books Will!)

Braeden gets baptized

Braeden got baptized Thanksgiving weekend, and his Aunt Jennifer and Aunt Lisa were his sponsors. He was perfect and didn't cry. He just listened to everything the pastor had to say. We are so blessed to have Braeden for our son. We love you Braeden!

This toy is fun for all!

La la la la la la laaaaaaaaaaa!!! Austin loves to "help" his brother play, and Braeden can't get enough of his big brother. Here they are singing together with the music stage.

Yep, I can do this too!

Braeden is just growing so fast! He rolls across the room, scooches on his belly, sleeps through the night (hooray!!!), eats all his food, drinks from a sippy cup, and just smiles and smiles! Oh yeah, and he has two bottom teeth coming through too! All this since Thanksgiving. Slow down little boy!!

Thanksgiving at our house

We got to have our first Thanksgiving hosted by our family this year. We had 22 people, and tons of food! Braeden enjoyed sweet potatoes and cheerios while Austin loved the ham. The kids had their own little table to sit at, and full bellies were had by all.

One Half!!

It is hard to believe that you are already half a year old, Braeden. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. Our world is a better place because of you! You are already learning to sit on your own and rolling around the floor, eating solids, and crawling will be just around the corner. We can't believe how quickly you are growing! You are already wearing clothes in the twelve month size!! You are going to be a big boy like your brother, but you'll always be our baby! Happy half-birthday Braeden! We love you!!

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

Rollin' rollin' rollin'....keep them doggies rollin'!

Halloween Superheroes!!!

It's a bird....It's a plane....no, it's two Supermen!!! Austin went trick-or-treating for the first time, and did a great job at knocking on doors, saying "twick or tweat" and holding out his pumpkin to be filled up. He also got his first taste of candy, and he is as picky with it as he is with all food. Mom doesn't really care if he likes candy too much now.....at least not until he learns to eat veggies! Braeden joined in the fun by just watching everything that went on.

Oh yeah, did you notice that Superman wears boots??? When he went in the telephone booth to change into his Superhero costume, he came out in cowboy boots! Imagine that!

No pictures...Please!

Oh, we all know how cute I am. Mom tells me, Dad tells me, even Austin tells me I am cute. But please, how many pictures can you honestly take??? Hey what's this, I found my foot! Cooooool!

Jack-O-Lantern Time!

Daddy helped me carve (or should I say, I watched Daddy carve) my first Jack-O-Lantern. I started to help, but when I felt the slimy texture of the pumpkin's insides, I decided I didn't really want to help.

Riding in the Wagon at Mimi's House

Well, here we are....riding in the wagon at Mimi's house. Well, Austin did the riding anyway. Braeden sort of just posed for the picture. Notice the matching outfits. Mom went shopping for new clothes for us, and there really is a limited amount of boys things out there, so she just bought two of the same things for us. Dress us like this now, Mom, while you still can!

Ashley meets Braeden

One of Mommy's best friends (for 20 years now!!!) came down for a visit from Chicago. Braeden liked meeting her, and gave her some good smiles! Unfortunately, by the time we took a picture, he was ready for a nap!

The Pumpkin Patch

We took a family outing to a local pumpkin patch and got lucky to have nice cool weather while we were there. Austin didn't want to sit still to get a picture with a pumpkin, he just saw that "mountain" of pumpkins, and had to climb to the top! No matter how many times we pulled him back down, he just kept trying to get to the top! Braeden and mommy got a picture in front of the pumpkins though. Daddy took Austin on a "train" ride around the farm, and they had a great time. While we were there Austin met a witch and Frankenstein, then helped mommy pick out a "fairy tale" pumpkin. It was a great day!
