High School Musical

Girls Night out!!! Last week Jeana, Teresa, Lexi, and I took the girls out to Tuachan to High School Musical the play. It was a blast to see the girls reactions in watching it in person. At first they were shocked that it wasn't the "real" Troy and "Gabrella". But then they got way into it. The auditorium was full of screaming girls.

Megan, Savannah, Ariana and Lacy. The beautiful girls out on the town.

GOOOOOOOOOOO WILDCATS!!!!!

The whole group except for Jeana, she was taking the picture.

Savannah with Ms. Darvus.

Savannah and Megan with the actor that played Troy. He had a really good voice. They were so excited to get their pics with some of the actors. This was a big deal to them. It was a way fun night.

Trav and Mary's bridal shower

Last night we went to Cedar to a couples bridal shower for my cousin, Travis. It was a ton of fun. We had it at Nat's beautiful, party house. They had a BBQ, games and a lot of steamy presents for the couple. Thank goodness my Grandma couldn't hear all of the comments being made about the 'fun' gifts. They also got a lot of good things for their house. After dessert some the guys started a game of basketball while the rest of us sat and chatted. Thanks Nat and Jeremy for having such a fun party.

The big ball game. I think they would have played all night if we didn't have to drive home and get the kids to bed.
Natalie "the hostess with the mostess"
Grandma Gladys with Brea. It was so good to see Grandma. It's been quite a few months since I've seen her. She is such an amazing woman. I look up to her so much.
Aunt Karen, the party planner. Another amazing woman.
My cousins Jen and Spencer. To all my single friends out there HE is hot, funny and single.
I've said this before and I'll say it again...I have the greatest family!!

Dan

I think I have the greatest husband on earth ( I know you other ladies probably think that about your husbands and if you don't, you should). Dan is such a hard worker, amazing Dad to our kids and my best friend. Well I was so proud of him on Wednesday he was given an award at the fire recruits graduation. The recruits voted on who they felt was the instructor that helped them learn and understand the most and it was Dan. He was shocked. I knew they were going to give him an award because they called to make sure that I was coming and they wanted me to figure out a way to get his mom and dad there without it being too obvious that he was being presented with it but I knew that if his mom and dad showed up to a fire recruit graduation it would totally give it away. I do wish they could have been there though. This is Dan at the beginning of graduation. He looks so good in his class A uniform.
His shocked face after he was presented with the award. What a cool thing.

They gave his this awesome plaque and a picture of him teaching.
I know he puts a 110% into whatever he does. Congrats Dan, I love you.

PHOENIX

For Family Home Evening on Monday night the kids came up with the activity. It to was throw water balloons at Kris and get him soaked....what ended up happening was the water balloons BOUNCED off him and he drenched the kids with the hose.

So they were pretty mad that their idea didn't work until he said "I'd be pretty mad if you threw me in the pool with my clothes on" (ding, ding, ding) so they tossed him into the pool.

Of course it didn't stop there..he decided to toss me and Amy in after they tossed him. Well I completely forgot that my Phone was in my bra (who would have thought). Needless to say, the next day I was at Alltel getting a new phone. Good times. By the way, if I had your number before I don't now so call me so that I can put it in my new phone.

My kids could not get enough of the dogs. Getting in the fountain was the only way to stay cool for the dogs.

On the fourth Amy had to go to girls camp so Kris and I woke up the kids at 5 A.M. to go to the lake. We wanted to beat the holiday crowds. We were on the lake by 6:20 A.M. We definitely beat the crowds. This is my first time wakeboarding. It was a ton of fun.

All of the cute kids. Chillin in the boat.

Kris, what a great brother!!

One, two, three CANNON BALL!!!

The kids spent the evening of the fourth making a "Happy Birthday America" sign. They had such a good time together. They really got along great.

Savannah and Mikaela. The tubing queens.

Josh and Autumn. The tubing maniacs.

Spencer and Carson. These two couldn't get enough of the tube and I couldn't get enough of watching their cute faces.

Over the week of the fourth the kids and I drove down to Phoenix to visit my brother Kris and His wife Amy and their kids. We had such a great time. Kris and Amy are the greatest hosts. We swam every day, went to the movies, took the kids skiing and played til the kids were completely worn out. Well come to think of it, I think the parents were more worn out than the kids. I was pretty sure that my mom was going to have a panic attack over that fact that I was driving there with the kids without Dan. The drive both ways actually went great. The kids just watched movies, we pretty much stopped at every bathroom along the way, not that the kids needed to go potty but they figured out that we got a treat every time we stopped. I didn't mind, I kind of like those stops myself. One of the nights we got a babysitter, yes, for all six kids, and Kris treated us to the best dinner I have ever had. We went to this place called Roy's. I had never heard of a Roy's before but it was awesome food, expensive, but dang good. We also stopped by an Ikea. Yes, that was my first time there too. That is a cool place. You definitely could get lost in a place like that.

Summer fun

THE BAILEY REUNION

All of the little kids getting ready for the 3 legged race. Proud Mom moment, Spencer and his buddy WON in their age group. After all of the training we did it finally paid off. hee, hee

Dan and I getting ready for the big race. I still think there should have been instant replay to see who really won. But Kris and Jared went home with the big W.

Some of the cute little ones during dinner.

Some of the Bailey girl cousins. I simply adore these women. I think I have the best family in the world. Between the Bailey side and the Whittaker side I'm definitely blessed.

Grandma and Grandpa Bailey with the grand kids. What a mad house, huh. It's always a loud, wild party and Papa and Gramma eat it up.
Taking the kids fishing at the pond. All the kids just "had" to go with grandpa so we loaded them all in the back of his truck.
Seth, Autumn and Josh

The only thing we caught was a snake. The kids thought that was great and I thought it was great to take pictures from a distance.
