Spencer Forester

Last Thursday was the day before Spencer's 4Th birthday. He woke up in the morning and said "I need to learn to ride my bike without training wheels today because tomorrow I'm 4!" And sure enough he did. It only took him one try and he was off and doing it on his own. He wouldn't even let Dan help him. Later that afternoon we went on a bike ride together around the neighborhood, he did so great. What a proud Mom moment. Today he wanted to ride his bike to get Josh at the neighbors house, I tried to discourage this because they live down a little hill, I thought I had him talked into taking his scooter but he talked his dad into riding his bike. Of course I wasn't o.k. with that and sent Dan to get him before he crashed going down the hill...well, he was a second too late. Can you say STITCHES!!!! Yep, that's right stitches. He was so brave at the doctor's during the whole ordeal. He didn't cry an ounce. He is such a big boy, I felt so bad but I'm glad he was such a brave boy.

STITCHES BOY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SPENCER. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. We celebrated Spencer's birthday for 2 days. On Friday we had lunch at Grandma Bailey's house with the cousins and then for dinner we went to Pirate Island Pizza. We were so happy to have Lexi and her 2 girls join us for pizza, it was fun having them up from Phoenix.

He woke up to balloons all over his floor on his birthday.

Day 2 of birthday celebrations..On Saturday we had a big family BBQ. The weather was great, the food was yummy and the company was even better. We are so blessed to have such a supportive, loving family.

WE LOVE YOU SPENCER!

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

Did you know that Super Bowl Sunday is 2nd, just behind Thanksgiving, as a day that the most food is consumed. I think I have to agree with those statistics. We had tamales, pork tacos, chips and salsa, cheese ball and crackers and bacon wraps. For dessert... cheese cake, and better than..football cake, YUMMY!!! Neal and Amy and their 3 kids and Pam and Barry with 3 of their kids came over to watch the game. It was a ton of fun. The kids had their own football game outside and played the wii. We cheered our hardest for Arizona and they came so close, even though they lost it was still a good game to watch.

Spencer was loving the wii, I'm surprised he let Amy take it home. I really need to get one of those.

The girls watched the game upstairs (it was closer to the food). I have to say some of the commercials were great.

The guys watched the game in the theater room, we tried to be diligent wives and refill their plates as needed ( you know, we're just nice that way. hee hee)
