EMPRESS to Impress

For the October meeting of the Designing Divas, Debbie provided the templates and many embellishments for the members to create crowns.  There were crowns with a Halloween theme, fall theme, cupcake party, harvest plus several others.  I elected to make a cone shaped crown and embellish it New Orleans Mardi Gras.  It turned out very elegant with the sequins, beads and especially the feathers.

THANK YOU DEBBIE for the fantastic project and your time and effort to find just the right embellishments for each theme.

More squares for Autumn

When I cut the latice for my previous Autumn card, it left all of these red squares which I used for the background for this card; two cards from one die cut.

More HOLIDAY CARDS

Merine conducted a holiday card workshop and I want to share some of them with you.

AUTUMN

I borrowed this image of the tree with falling leaves from a friend and made her a card.  Our leaves are still falling which is unusually late for November.

Autum Love Bouquet

I had errands to run and grocery shopping which took all moring and into the afternoon.  It was a horrendous day because I forgot people get paid the first of the month and the stores were jammed plus it was cold and windy.  What a delightful surprise to find a bouquet of flowers and a ceramic pumpkin container from my granddaughter.  She changed a dismal day into bright sunshine.  Who wouldn't feel better with yellow sunflowers on a cold windy day!
