Sea World with Great Friends!!

Time for Sea World with great friends! We went with Jordan, Johanna and her twin girls, Camden and Grayden. They both went to high school with Cody. Good friends that we still keep in touch with. It's a shame we don't all live in the same city so we can see each other more often. This Thanksgiving trip though we were able to spend a lot of time with them. This was our first time to meet Camden and Grayden! We will not be letting it be this long again before we get together with them. This was also the girls first time to go to Sea World, of course I was super excited since Sea World is one of my very favorite places to go! The shows were all Christmas themed and the park was all decorated with Christmas!!

Thanksgiving 2011

This year we co-hosted Thanksgiving with my Dad & Christine. It was such a wonderful time and a huge hit! We had so many people there and it went so smoothly. Unfortunately the Aggies lost to the Longhorns but it was a great day other than that!

November 2011

Lots of pics of some things that happened in November.

Cody shot his first aoudad in Junction on opening weekend of deer season.

Colton playing in the tupperware cabinet. He took everything out and decided to get in! Then he pretended he was cooking in the oven. He had hot pads out and everything!

Painting his hand and putting it on his paper and eating breakfast in his chair watching Mickey Mouse.

At Miss Amy & GG's house having fun with candy. We dipped marshmallows in chocolate and sprinkles.

Showing Colton how to take a picture with the flag in our yard. We order the flag from a Boy Scout and he brings it and puts it in our yard on certain holidays. And of course Colton has his golf club.

Sitting on the stool watching the digital picture frame and more painting.

Putting up Christmas he got his star and snuck behind the couch, took it out of the box, removed the child proof plug and plugged it in.

Last look at his toddler bed. Colton and Daddy taking down the crib and making it into a big boy bed!

Our aspiring janitor had to vacuum his room with NO help from us!

Telling Mommy his tummy hurts, but I think he was just making it up because it was time for bath. Then the finished bed, well for now. We are deciding on bedding to finish his room.

First night in his big boy bed! He didn't make it the whole night but he did good. He Loves his bed and is so proud of it. Now, we just need to get him to stay in it all night.

Uncle Jay, Colton, Daddy and Leland playing with the train.

Helping Daddy with the wood pile that fell down.

He has his boots on, tape measure on his short and ready to help!
Colton with Grand Dude and Nana and having Grand Dude feed him. What? He loves his Grand Dude!

All bundled up with boots, jacket and beanie playing outside. Brrr, it's cold outside!

Painting with Mommy

I have recently discovered that our little guy enjoys painting! I had this easel at school and I don't use it and I don't have the room at all in my Scholastic Cottage. So, I brought it home for him over the summer and he really enjoys drawing on it with chalk and erasing. I knew painting would be easier for him if it was upright and not on the table. I put a paper bag around the side and have some clothespins that will hold his paper so it wasn't all the way at the top. It worked out so well and we had a great time painting. I saw something they made at school so we were re-creating it and making some other things. Fun times!!

Painting his foot to make a butterfly! We had two different projects going this time.

Watching Daddy closely as he mows.
Dad was done mowing so Colton took a try at it. He pushed it all the way around our cul-de-sac!
Sweet boy sleeping with his camo blankie (he was wrapped up in this when he was born) and monkey.
Colton and Cole playing with Colton's ABC laptop.
I made this glass block night light for Jackson Kelly! I gave it to Aunt Shannon at her baby shower. I Love how it turned out. I made one for Colton before he was born and knew I had to make one for Jackson!
Hanging out in Mommy and Daddy's bed watching Woody (Toy Story).
Bath time fun!
Singing Mommy Happy Birthday and blowing out the candle.
Tool man with his tool belt
Drawing on his easel
Trying on costumes for Halloween. I asked him where his dimple was and he pointed right to it!
In San Antonio. Colton and Riley playing on the iPad and then the kiddos (Riley, Colton and Reese) went for a golf cart ride.
Playing in Grand Dude's garage. Colton and Nonna sitting on Grand Dude's truckster eating lunch and hanging out while Grand Dude fixes the $3 broken John Deere tractor that G-Pa got at a garage sale. Best $3 spent!!
