Saturday was a fun day for our family. My sister in law planned a day of softball for family and friends. This was the first time I had done anything active since having the babies, and since finding out I was pregnant with twins for that matter. We picked the teams, pretty much 35+ on one, plus a few youngins and the twenty somethings on one team. Last time we played this way, the twenty somethings were destroyed by the older team. This time, we were out for revenge. We started out strong, with a few point lead, but fell into a slump were we just could not score. My nephew was in
left field and caught everything that came his way. Finally we caught on and due to a few lucky overthrows and my brother in law making a home run out of a single, we pulled ahead by one point. The other team didn't want to give up just yet though, so we played one more inning, and to our great satisfaction, we redeemed ourselves of our lost a few years ago. While it doesn't really matter who won or lost, it always f
eels good to be on the winning team. The kids had a blast playing on the playground and chasing balloons and we ended our day with hot dogs and potato salad. It was a wonderful Saturday and I am glad I got a little exercise. One small downside... it was hot! As a result, we all got sunburns, and surprisingly even the babies got little ones.
Now don't yell at me for being a bad mom. I kept them in the shade, so I have no clue how they each got a rosy cheek, just on one side and it is the opposite of the others.

My little boys are getting so big now. Max weig
hs in at 9 1/2 lbs and Zane at 9 lbs. They have both doubled their weight in 2 months. I am proud of my little, chubby boys. They both smile and are alert a lot more. Now if only I could get them to sleep longer at night.
