Christmas was with Chad's family this year. I love going to visit his family. We always have such a good time! This year we went bowling. I was the high score on our lane! Then we had Christmas dinner at the church, and ending with a mean game of panic (I think that is what they called it). I love this time of year! I love being with family, no school, the lights, music, people's kindness, and remembering what Christmas is all about and the reason we have it!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was a little busy this year. Chad wanted to get certified for scuba diving so that we can go and do it on our cruise in January. A couple weeks ago we went to Scuba with Santa and tried it out to see if we wanted to pursue it. Chad was totally on board, but I was not so sure I could do it. He ended up convincing me that I could do it with him and we took our last test on Christmas Eve at the Crater in Midway, so luckily my mom was willing to come and be with the kids so we could go to that. I am so nervous but he needs a buddy to go with so I guess I get to volunteer! Brynlee and Dallin both lost a tooth so the tooth fairy and Santa get to visit tonight, and we can't go to sleep unless we get the traditional PJ's! It didn't feel like it was Christmas Eve because I think we were so busy, but it is okay to do different things too!

Christmas concert
This year we had three little cuties in the Christmas concert at school. It was Dallin's first year and he did awesome! Now we can move on to class parties and then Christmas Break!

Gingerbread Houses
This year for our gingerbread house, I found a box of small individual houses instead of the one big one we usually get. The kids really liked doing their own. Christmas traditions are so fun!

We got into the Christmas Spirit with Brynlee's Christmas Choir Concert! It was so fun to see her perform.

Christmas Tree Hunting
The annual Christmas tree picking! Home Depot always seems where we end up. This year I put the lights on and the kids did the rest of the decorating. (I didn't even fix it when they went to bed, I am so proud of myself!) They did a great job and had fun doing it so that is what matters!

Thanksgiving
We had everyone over for Thanksgiving dinner at our house. It was fun to get together as family. I have so many things to be grateful for and love taking some time to remember them. It is crazy to see how fast the kids grow up. Where does time go?!

Ceramics
When I was a little girl I remember always going over to my grandma's and painting ceramics. We decided to go try out our skills at painting. It was really fun! Everyone was entertained. Ashlee's unicorn may have had too many layers of paint but she didn't want to stop! Fun Memories!

Helping the Homeless
We were able to help out with a project to help donate to the homeless this year. I hope that it made an impact on my kids. It was good to go up to the homeless shelter and see where the stuff that they were gathering was going to go and the people that it would help!

Zipper Mouth
Brynlee got braces this weekend! She was so excited. Luckily we have a really good friend that is an Orthodontist and got a pretty good deal! This just means they get to see us more often! When Dallin was little, we would play Old Maid and one of the cards had a kid with braces. He would call it the zipper mouth card, so that is Brynlee's new nickname!

Reflections
Brynlee participated in Reflections this year. She had fun doing it. Maybe next year we will spend a little more time on her project!

Halloween
Here is the costumes for this year! We went to Idaho for Halloween this year because our niece was getting baptized the next day. The kids had fun doing trick or treating with their cousins, it was a change of pace for them.
