So she's almost 9 months and it's BEEN SO LONG. Sorry. Not that it makes a difference. I think there are less people looking at my blog now that it's private. This is for journal purposes anyway. So, I really need to get back into the blogging world for Adelyn. I don't want to forget these milestones.
As you can see from the picture above, Adelyn will use just about ANYTHING to pull herself up and cruise around the house. She's in discovery mode and loves to explore the house. It can be nice that she's entertained, but I have to keep things in perfect condition and watch her like a hawk so she doesn't choke on anything.

She started crawling around 6 1/2 months and loves to crawl EVERYWHERE. She's my little Speedy Gonzales when she sees my planner or our flip flops. Boy am I in trouble. She's a shoe girl. :) She likes to hit anything that makes noise and she just started this bouncy dance that is SO adorable.


She's FINALLY on a schedule!!!
She has been sleeping in her crib during naps and all through the night. 3 naps a day for an hour each and sleeps from about 8ish to 7 am. It was SO hard at first for me, but now it's the best way for her to get the best rest possible. I still have a little heartbreak when I put her down, especially when she cries, "MAMAMAM" or "Da-da-da-DAH" But I think she starting to know what gets to us, that little stinker. :)

The mornings are the best. When I bring her to our bed, she crawls and climbs all over us and pulls up to look at the mirror and gets so excited when she sees herself. It's so fun to see. The best is when she lays down on Daddy's face and says, "Ahhhhh... ahhhh. ahhh" Really softly while giving him loves and kisses. It makes it hard for Chad to go to work. So sweet.

Oh, and she has two teeth now. Just got 'em this week. So she has a runny nose and was a little cranky, but we got through this first stretch. It wasn't too bad. She still slept through the night so I can't really complain. Thank GOODNESS for baby Tylenol and those teething tablets.

I have a NEW nephew. His name is Connor Thomas Foust and he's so sweet and Adelyn loves him also. She wants to pat him really hard, but we'll have to wait until he's older for them to start playing. :)

She's eats really well. I nurse 3 times a day and she eats 2 jars of food 3 times a day. She's growing so fast. Her legs are starting to hang off of her car seat. I'll get to see how much she's grown at her 9 month appointment. I'm so GLAD she's not getting shots this time around. Also, we're switching pediatricians, so hopefully things will go great.

Well, that's a quick update. I'll try to be better.

Oh, and I always have to put a plug in for my SWEET and ADORABLE husband. I love him and MISS him SO much when he's gone!! :)
