Now you see it, Now you don't!

We are so fortunate to have sidewalks and big trees in our neighborhood. In fact that was a requirement for us when we purchased a house. Last year I noticed one of our trees had a lot of dead limbs. The city trimmed it but wouldn't take it out. This year I noticed there was a disease eating the tree. After several conversations with the city we got word last week that our tree was coming down. Down it came ..... The Tupelo Public Works Department started on Wednesday morning and by 3 pm all that was left was a stump. Thanks so much guys!
Now that the tree is down it will no longer be dangerous and I will have more sunlight in my backyard. My garden will be so happy!

Birthdays!

March is always a busy month at the West House.
We celebrated Chad's 32nd Birthday on Tuesday March 9th @ Old Venice. We had so much fun with all of our Cycling Buddies. That was the kick off to our Tuesday Night rides. I am looking forward to tonight!
On Wednesday March 10th we celebrated Kristy Luse's Birthday with a Fabulous dinner at Park Heights! I hope our Ph Diva had a blast. This is also the same night I debuted my bump-it. That's right I own one and had so much fun with a new do!
We started my birthday celebration on Wednesday March 17th with a St. Patrick's Day Party at the O'Cannons followed by dinner with my parents. Thursday we celebrated with friends at Romies on the Patio. Our special guest was "the sun." The weather was so nice. Thanks to all of our friends and family for making this year so special.
Our final birthday celebration is tomorrow for Alicia's Birthday at Old Venice.

TGIF

This week has been busy and fun! However, I am glad today is Friday!!!!
Chad turned 32 on Tuesday. We celebrated with Cocktails at Old Venice. It was so nice to see so many of our cycling friends. Happy Birthday Chad!
The rest of the week flew by with meetings, dinners, band practice (for Chad), and work. The sun is out and it makes me so happy :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Marty Stuart

Marty Stuart is back in Tupelo Today! He spoke at the Governer's Conference on Tourism Luncheon. I didn't get to go today but I did meet him in January when he was here for the Ribbon Cutting of his Sparkle and Twang Exhibit.

I think he has the coolest hair. If you get a chance you should go see the Sparkle and Twang Exhibit on display at the Tupelo Automobile Museum. It will be there until June.
