Collins is 2 Months Old

On Wednesday December 26th Collins was 2 Months Old.  This time I had help from Chad and Grover.  These are much better than last month when I tried by myself...

A few weeks ago Chad started talking to Collins in the Grover voice.  Collins started laughing and smiling so for Christmas Chad got him a Grover Puppet.

If you notice he never looks at the camera.  He is following Grover instead.  Looks like Grover will be above the camera next month!
Currently Collins is awake more during the day with a few naps and sleeps 6-8 hours straight at night.  He is making more sounds and seems to like Tummy Time.

Collins 1st Christmas

Collins 1st Christmas was awesome!

We started our celebration on Saturday in Jackson with "Jackson Family Christmas".  Collins did great in the car.  It was such a special day since the Jackson family was meeting Collins for the 1st time.  It was so awesome seeing the look on DD and Dink's faces when they met Collins.  A priceless memory for sure.

Saturday night we had dinner at Local 463 and stayed at the new Embassy Suites on the Parkway.

Collins looks so tiny in the big bed!

Happy boy at breakfast the next day.

Dink and DD came to the hotel on Sunday to see Collins one more time before we went to lunch @ Kiefer's and  headed back to Tupelo.

Before Church Collins got a Christmas Bath.  He loves the water and looking at himself in the mirror...

Collins 1st trip to Church was Christmas Eve.  He was so good and slept the whole time.  Since he hasn't had shots I wasn't ready to send him to the nursery.  After church we went to The Vance's for Pizza and Presents!

We had a big Christmas!  Mimi got us a Bob Jogger Stroller.  We are so excited.  Collins tested it out...

She even got us the kit to snap our carseat in until Collins gets bigger!  We can't wait to try it out.

Only 2 More Weeks

I go back to work 2 weeks from today.  I am excited and sad at the same time.  I know Collins will be in good hands with Mimi and Mo while I am at work.  We are so blessed our moms don't work and can keep Collins.  And it will be nice to have more adult interaction.

Since I go back in 2 weeks I have been spending lots of time with Collins and trying to capture his personality.  I still can't get a sneeze and the cute sound he makes after on video but I will keep trying...

Lately, Collins seems to like laying on his tummy so I am trying to do it more often.  My boys hanging out last night while I finished wrapping Christmas Presents.

Tummy Time Video.  Trying pretty hard to roll over...

When I can't find Pete these days I just check the nursery.
He seems to like he and Collins are roommates!

It looks like Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of year!  I finally finished decorating for Christmas.  This year I didn't do as much as I normally do.  It was much harder this year with Collins around.  I need to make arrangements for Mimi or Mo to keep him one day next year so I can knock it all out in a day instead of a week.
It took several days but I am pleased with the simple decorations.

We did a small live tree this year and only used ribbon, Radko, and Butterflies!

My mom bought us these cute stocking holders at Swirlz.  If you notice, Collins doesn't have a stocking.  After looking at fabrics, Pinterest and Etsy I have decided that we are all getting new stockings.  Yesterday I made a trip to Premier Prints.  I hope to work on our new stockings this week so we can get them monogrammed in time for Christmas.

This is what Collins did most of the time while I was decorating.  He likes looking at the pattern on the side of his bassinet.

While I had the Christmas Decorations out I bought new storage bins and re-organized all of it.  Maybe it will be better protected in the attic and easier to find what I need next year when we are in the new house.

Now, if I could just finish Christmas Shopping!

Collins is 6 Weeks Old

Collins is 6 Weeks Old Today!  He was all smiles this morning...

Collins is changing so fast.  He is smiling a lot and making lots of new noises.  I am loving every minute of it.  This week has been very eventful.

On Monday Collins went with us to pick out Bathroom Fixtures, lunch at Connie's and went to Dad's Office to meet the staff.

Monday afternoon I took Pete and Collins for a walk.  Let's just say it was eventful...

On Tuesday Collins and I went to lunch with Mom at His Hers and ran some errands.  While we were at lunch Collins met Kathy Beasley:

Here is a photo of Collins hanging out with me:

Thursday morning Collins went with me to my appointment with Dr. Ray.  He was so good.  Everyone was so happy to see him.  He slept the whole time.  Dr. Ray cleared me and said I can run and bike and pretty much do anything I want now.

Thursday Afternoon Ms. V, Pete and Collins played in the floor:
