The West Family

This past weekend we took Glenda, Kim, Greg and the twins to Pickwick for the weekend. We got there in time to watch Eastport Fireworks from the dock and eat a late dinner. On Saturday we got up and went out on the water early... The weather was so nice compared to the 100 degree weather we have had lately. We went to Eastport Grill for lunch then back on the water for more boating and floating. Saturday Night Chad grilled Burgers and Hot Dogs for us. On Sunday we had brunch before everyone headed home. On Sunday June 24th Kim Root, Meredith Martin, and I hosted a baby shower for Amber Jamison! We are so excited about the arrival of their baby girl in August. She got some really cute things. We are still waiting on her arrival to find out her name...

Chad and I went to the beach a few weeks ago for a long weekend with Glenda. The Hanna's were supposed to go with us but the kids were exposed to Hand, Foot and Mouth so they didn't go. The weather was absolutely perfect. The highs were in the low 90's. We spent most of our time by the pool and some on the beach. Our 1st night we went to dinner at The Sunset Grille on the back bay behind our condo. The second night we went to Doc's. They have great fried seafood. Our 3rd and final night we went to Louisiana Lagniappe It was so yummy. When we got back from dinner we caught this beautiful sunset before we went for a walk on the beach. We tried to take a good a photo on the beach but it was so windy we have really bad hair! My first bump photo. I look like I ate way too much food...
