**Wride Family**

Wow i am so far behind i hope i can catch up at some point! My sister Lindsay and her family came and visited us for 2 weeks! We had a lot of fun. We crammed in a lot of play dates, yummy food, LOTS of shopping and some yummy cooking. It was pretty crazy at my house but i loved it. The kids played together so well and had so much fun

We got a chance to go see the lights at temple square and they were amazing!The LDS temple is the most gorgeous building i have ever seen

Costco gave Chance a turkey for Christmas and he decided to grill it. We all agreed that it was the best turkey we have had. Chance did amazing

I know i am super late but it has been crazy busy with my family in town!

Thanksgiving was so much fun. Chance went and played in a turkey bowl that morning and then we all headed off to Chances parents house for some yummy food. I got to make the mashed potatoes and rolls this year. I was not a huge fan of the rolls i made but i thought the potatoes turned out pretty good. WE had a big yummy turkey and all the yummy thanksgiving food to go with it. It was fun spending time with family and later that night going through all the ads for Black Friday shopping!

Or should i say slush....... This morning we woke up to a little bit of snow on the ground. So i got really excited to take Blake outside and show him how to play in the snow. At first he really did not like it. He didnt even want to touch it. So i got him to think it was fun to stomp on it and from then on he loved it!! He gave us lots of laughs and smiles and i think overall it was a pretty good experience for him. He cried when i took him inside!

Blaker has learned a lot of words lately and he was finally in the mood to let me get a video of him saying them. I had to bribe him with yogurt pretzels but he did it and was such a trooper.


He also says a lot more like: Binki, Blankie, food, naughty etc. Its pretty cute! He is getting so big! Almost 18 months old!

Yes that is right Blake is very naughty at church. It is almost like he just knows its Sunday and he has to go to church. Every Sunday he wakes up at least an hour before he normally does, then he gets really fussy and by the time we get to church i am already dreading the next three hours! He is such a stinker! Also we have started taking him to nursery ( a couple weeks early) and man o man he is naughty naughty naughty. He will not let me leave him in there even for a second. The leaders told me i need to stay in there for a few weeks with him to get him adjusted. So he pretty much clings to me the whole time and if i even stand up he starts to cry. O my gosh i didnt know this was going to happen! Blake is a very outgoing kid when it comes to other kids normally. He always gives them hugs and ALWAYS wants to play with them. So i did not see this coming.

But this Sunday was a little bit of a different story. Blake made it through an entire sacrament meeting without us having to take him out. I got to listen to all the testimonies! He was such a good boy just sat there and ate his marshmallows and cheerios and and sang along to the hymns. I was quite proud of him. When we went into nursery, for the first 30 minutes he was really good, no crying just sat with me. Then he got really fussy and started freaking out but after a little bit they had snack time and Blake was in heaven getting to sit in his own chair and eat his fruit snacks and graham crackers. After that he sat in his own chair and listened to singing time and then got down and started playing with the other kids. I was so happy. Him and this one kid were making each other laugh for a really long time which was really cute. So maybe this is going to be a good thing or maybe it was just a fluke, but either way i got to enjoy a full Sunday!

So that i had to explain all that but it was important for me to document it.

Blake plays all day long! He loves to just get into everything and play with everything. We have stayed home the past couple days so i thought today i would take him to the tree house at the mall. He had a blast! He is still at the age where i kind of need to follow him around or else he will try to jump off the tree house, but it was still fun. He played with some kids and got himself nice and wet in the little water feature. I think i will definitely take him there more often since we cant really play at the park anymore due to the weather! Here are some fun pics from our day

Blake has been begging me to let him help me make food the past few days. So last night i let him stir. O boy did he think he was just the biggest boy ever! He did not want to get down and stirred for a really long time. No worries i was right next to him the whole time!
