Halloween and my new Dining room!

The scarriest trunk at the trunk or treat. Pierson was so scared and infatuated with this trunk. He kept going over and staring ath the cut off heads and skulls but was so scared of them, It was hilarious! Now everytime he sees this picture he says "eeeeewwwwwww"!

We finally got a new dining table and chairs. It's a huge step up for us from our foldaway that we had in NY. Well it is sure nice to finally have a REAL dining room!

Averie loves her new Pillow Pet! She really wanted to give it a ride on her scooter. So I told her to go get my belt so we could put it on her back. She was thrilled. Do you like my kitchen towels they used for capes?

Averie picked out her own costume this year which is very important to her right now, Picking out everything she wears. She was "BATERINA" (notice the bat tattoo on her arm she is showing off. She got a prize for having the scarriest kids costume at the party!

Last Days in NY to first months in Cali!

I just have to say these pictures are in backwards order. I always forget that that when you load your pictures in it puts them in the wrong order so the last pictures are the older ones.

Woody was leaving so they wouldn't let us go take a picture with him, so we had to sneak and snap one but I thought I was going to have to straight jacket him from breaking through the barrier!

Averie was very scared, she barely would hold still long enough to get the picture. She really wanted to see him but DID NOT want to get too close.

This guy was HILARIOUS and my friend Michelle MADE me do the HUGE hula. This guy was playing his drum singing this tune that goes "Who dat baby mama? Who dat baby mama?" Which Averie still sings.

And his girlfriend had the biggest boobs I've ever seen , and the deepest voice I ever heard.

4th of July. Averie always asked to get her face painted and I never let her cause I'm too cheap and it's always a rip off, but I finally let her and I hope she liked it cause I waited in line with her for over 45 minutes!

Cool Trix at Santa Monica Beach!

Well I still got it! One of my old tricks from elementary school. Chelsey and Bryce were both cracking up and couldn't figure out what I was trying to do. When I started spinning all the way around they were totally in shock. I had Chelsey's wedding ring in my pocket and it flipped out. Luckily we realized it had fallen out and were able to dig it up in the sand. So I fell on my face after I got off cause I was so dizzy and when I looked up everybody all over the adult playground (as I call it) was staring at me and laughing. I guess I look my age cause I don't think anyone thought someone so old with such a big butt could do something like that! !!!! FUN TIMES!

(By the way I had scabs on my hips for like 2 weeks after!)

OUR BEST NEWS EVER

Our Last Months In NY!

My friend Melanie had a dress up party for the little girls in our ward at her house. It was so much fun for the girls. I painted all their nails, put glitter on their faces, lipgloss and Hanna Montana perfume of course!

Easter baskets. Every Easter I think of my Grandma Bowen singing "This is my Easter bonnet, with all the flowers on it." Pierson didn't have on a bonnet, or anything else for that matter.

When Chels and my mom came to visit we went to my old stomping grounds and had chicken and a waffle and greens at Sylvia's diner in Harlem, then visited our old park that was right by our old apt.

Family photo opp in the tulips. I will forever think of the lady who chewed out my mom who was sitting way on the other end of park. She told how how we were such liberal parents because we were allowing our kids to pick the flowers (which we were not). Kids don't listen very well and once a flowers picked, not much you can do. I won't miss everyone getting into our business here in the city. Every body thinks for some reason that they are en tiled to tell other grown ups how to live their lives and raise their kids here in the city. It's an odd thing but definitely will not be missed!

Aren't NY parks cool. I will miss that they are all a rubber top and don't have sand but won't miss that there usually is hardly any grass!

Averie loves to take pictures of me. If I didn't have her I wouldn't have any pictures of myself because Bryce despises taking photos for some reason. We were out at the park with our friends Mel and Trav.

Averie likes to dress herself most days. Nobody else in NY tries to hard to look good, why should we waste our time???

Pierson wants to ride the scooter so bad. He already knew how to push his foot.

Averie thinks she is Hanna Montana, Or Miley. She didn't understand what a wig was when she first started watching the show so I got out some of my old extensions to show her what fake hair was. She was hooked. She had to put in on everytime she watched the movie.
