We had a very quiet Christmas here in southern Utah and to say I really had a hard time is an understatement. I felt very teary all day and can't wait to be with some family members next year! We have enjoyed our time down here- no doubt about it, but we are ready to spend time with family and friends. We talked to all of our children and we think that they enjoyed what we got them. Gotta love ordering with Amazon. Next year I want to be able to deliver presents and enjoy time watching them open them up. Face time is okay, but really is not the same. I just love being with family and miss them all so much. We received a lot of nice presents from our children and a lot of nice cards from family and friends. We have listened to Christmas music for over a month, watched dozens of Hallmark movies and gone to dinners, but we still miss family. On Christmas Day we went with our friends to see some lights. This house with so many lights was the winner of a $50,000 prize and the owner of this home has a grandchild who was helped by Shriner's and he donated the money to the Shriner's for all that they have done for his grandchild. He can't enter the big contest again, but keeps putting up the lights every year. The pictures just do not do it justice. It was really awesome!!
