One day at a time!!

On Tuesday, the 30th of March, Denny and I drove down to where Blake is staying in Gresham. We packed a lunch and headed down the road. We visited with him for about 2 hours and it was so great to see him. We took him an Easter treat and he does love his chocolate. Blake is the only one right now so he has 100% of the attention which he loves. 😊 He has had both of his vaccinations and has really been doing well. The neurologist is actually in the process of weaning him off of some of his medications so that is good news. We were so glad to actually see the home where he is living and to be able to hug that young man! We love you Blake and we will see you soon again!! 💗

Derrinda and Che were able to fly to Utah this weekend where they are enjoying several fun events. Here are a few pictures of their visit with Doug (Den's brother) and Denise. Glad they could enjoy this time!

Today is my parent's "Heavenly" 70th Wedding Anniversary. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! We miss and love you both so much, but it is so nice to know that you are together and can celebrate this special day together. Love you both forever and always!!

 Nick's car finally came in that he was so excited to get which is a 2013 Fiat and he is so happy! Nick has a new job that he loves and a new car! Way to go Nick!! No speeding tickets Nick- LOL

Today our eldest son turned 44 years old. Happy Birthday Devin and we love you very very much!! Momma owes you a custard so don't let me forget! LOL  I still remember the day that you were born and Dr. Fish said that you had the cutest button nose. I was so excited to finally be a Mother and to have such an adorable baby boy!! So many good memories with you son and many more to come!

Well, Haven made it for a week after all! She even wanted to stay for a second week, but Grandma just wasn't up to it! LOL We packed so much into a week and it was sure fun to have the one on one time with her. Poor sweetie facetimed me last night and wanted to come back to Grandma's. I remember when we have had other grandchildren visit for a week or two and they were always sad when they went home. Not because they didn't love their parents, but it is just a special time at Grandma and Grandpa's. I sure hope that she has good memories and I hope that all of our grandchildren will remember us with good memories and that they will always know how much we love each one of them.  I hope that our children have good memories of their grandparents as I do with mine. Unfortunately, Denny didn't know any grandparents so I shared mine with him! Grandparents have plenty of love to spread around!

Haven had a lot of fun with some new Legos. In her words- "I was born to do Legos!"

 Today is the day for the wearing of the green and our littlest munchkin is ready for the day!

We met Desi, Nick and Haven in Kennewick on Sat. March 12th and we are enjoying the pleasure of Haven's company for a week. We have been very busy with crafts and lots of fun activities. Grandpa has her over at the park right now so I can at least get a few pictures on here. LOL
