Fun Weekend!

Brandon and Elijah got to watch their favorite NFL team, the San Francisco 49er's beat the New Orleans Saints in San Francisco on Sunday, November 27th. So happy that the boys got to make the trip down and see a win in person! Looks like they had pretty terrific seats too!

Also on Sunday, the Marielli's got their new puppy, Mocha. Haven is totally in love with this little girl!!

Mocha, on the right, was still a few weeks away from joining the family

Finally Mocha is able to come home!

Marinelli Christmas Tree

Desi has been busy preparing for her Boho Christmas tree. What is a boho tree you ask? Well, a Bohemian theme uses lots of browns and natural colors. A lot of natural materials are used and it is all to look very natural and I would say "earthy". The Marinelli family went out yesterday and got their tree and last night it was finally decorated and finished.  It looks really great Desi and family!!

Desi made mushrooms.....

added tassels to wooden beads for garland.....

and made cute little ornaments!
Beaded ornaments for the tree.

Another adventure to find the perfect tree is in the books!

Christmas Decorations!

We finally managed to get some Christmas decorations up and it sure is nice to have them up and enjoy a good Hallmark Christmas movie. (Yesterday we watched 3!) The tree & ornaments that Derek bought us are perfect for our little home and we can't thank him enough!! 😘

Thanksgiving Week

Unfortunately for me, it has been a miserable week! I started getting sick on the way home from Idaho Falls and have been sick all week. Finally today I have felt better and we were able to actually run some errands and I am still going pretty good tonight! My dear hubby picked us up some Marie  Callender TV dinners, but the only thing that tasted good were the rolls. 😔There's always next year! This year everyone just kind of did their own thing, but I sure do miss our big family Thanksgivings! I am so grateful for each of our family members and all of our extended family and friends! They are truly choice blessings in our lives and we always want the best for each and everyone of them. Love em' all!!! 💗

Derrinda and Che went to the wedding of one of Derrinda's co-workers!

Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad!

On Monday, November 21st was my Dad's 92nd birthday. How I wish that he was here so that we could have a fun family gathering for him and I could make him a yummy chocolate dessert of some kind! Maybe one of these birthdays I will just have to make a dessert and eat some of it for him! 😉  Hope that you had a wonderful day with your loved ones on the other side Dad!! Love you forever!! 💗💖

Oh how Dad loved his KFC chicken!!

Our friend, Ireta Ellis

When we lived in Utah a few years ago, we became friends with Don & Ireta Ellis. Don and Ireta were like our Utah parents. 😊 After we moved, they would call often to check on us and we loved to keep in touch with them. We enjoyed playing games with them and I have a special wooden card holder that Don made. We will always treasure the time that we had with them. After we left Utah, they moved up to Ammon, which is right by Idaho Falls. The last time we saw Ireta was in March and I am so glad that we had a good visit with them.  We went to the funeral on Monday, November 21st and then headed back to St. George. A long trip, but I am so grateful that we could go! 💗

Quick Trip To Idaho Falls, Idaho

On Sat., November 19th we drove to Idaho Falls to attend a funeral on Monday for our friend, Ireta Ellis. On the way we stopped in Springville, Utah and had lunch with Den's brother Doug, his wife Denise and their son, Corbin. Thanks for a yummy lunch Denise and a nice visit! We were able to spend time with Derek when we got to Idaho Falls and that is always a special treat because we don't see him very often. It was fun to visit the shop again and see all of the wonderful things that he is accomplishing! Of course it is always nice to get my Oopsies to be able to share with all my friends! 👍 😀 Thanks for a fun visit Derek!!
