One day at a time!!

 I know that some of you are missing my quotes, so here we go with a few good ones that I like!! 

As I sit here at the end of this Thanksgiving Day, I am thinking about the many blessings that I have been gifted with during my lifetime. I don't even know where to start and how to express how full my heart is. 💖 I have thought about the many family celebrations that I enjoyed when I was growing up. Family gatherings were important to each side of my family, and I definitely remember lots of good family time. I sure hope that we helped to create some wonderful memories for our children and grandchildren and that they will be able to look back and smile! 😊 Denny and I have spent several holidays away from our family while we have lived down here and today, I am super missing everyone and longing to be with my family. I have sure been blessed with a great family and friends. Only a few more months and we can get moved back! 👍

Tonight, Friday, November 22nd, we went to a great outdoor concert and watched Eric Dodge perform! We have attended many of his shows and I watch very carefully for any that are coming up!😉Our next one will be his free Christmas concert on December 16th in Hurricane. You can bet that it is marked on my calendar!😀It was pretty chilly though when the sun went down, but luckily we had some blankets in the car and extra sweatshirts. I have been freezing from head to toe and I am afraid it is going to be a long winter for me!! 😟

On Wednesday, November 20th, Denny and I went to Vegas for a couple of days. We have been wanting to get down there and finally made it. My cousin, Bonnie flew in from El Paso and was visiting her daughter, Janelle and her family. Bonnie's husband drove up a few days later so we got to meet him also. It was nice to get away, but we couldn't get all of the things done that I wanted to, so we will have to make another trip later before we leave here. 🚗 👍😃

We tried a new place to eat called Fat Burgers and I was impressed with the burger. I didn't eat the bun, but the meat tasted just like a home cooked patty and I sure enjoyed that! 🍔

After lunch at Cracker Barrel, we headed toward the Extraterrestrial Hwy which I have had on my bucket list for quite a while.
