County Fair

IMG_7772
The picture I didn't get was the kids jumping a mile high when the bear started talking, there was a guy with a microphone across the tent that was hilarious.
IMG_7773
Annabelle loves to feed the animals.
IMG_7774
On her terms.
IMG_7785
Nate *loved* the small birds, Annabelle did not (like mother...)
IMG_7788
Annabelle & Daddy like the fast rides
IMG_7792
While Nate likes to spin.
IMG_7797
Annabelle had to get her annual Tower of Terror slide in, next year Nate will be tall enough.
IMG_7800
While we swung high
IMG_7802
Daddy & Nate stayed on the ground.
IMG_7803
We all had our favorite fair food for dinner, pizza for the kids, sausage hoagie for Dad & blooming onion for Mom.
IMG_7807
There was butterfly catching
IMG_7810
and Nate's annual ride on a chicken.
IMG_7814
As always a fun day at the fair.

Kennywood

IMG_7753
Unfortunately our day at Kennywood with the Girl Scouts was rained out.  We choose instead to go later in the week, our first ride required 3D glasses.
IMG_7755
Annabelle wanted to ride all the daring thrill rides.
IMG_7754
Nate preferred to stay grounded.
IMG_7761
and pick up girls.
IMG_7767
but they did find some common ground
IMG_7763
All in all a good day but I doubt Nate will be going back for a few years. Nate does not have the patience to wait in lines.

Irwin Parade

IMG_7717
Grandma Joyce invited us to attend the parade for Irwin's 150th Birthday
IMG_7719
Annabelle faced her fear of clowns and greeted some Shriners.
IMG_7720
Honest Abe also attended.
IMG_7721
Both kids were over the top excited to see their acting teacher and some friends from class.
IMG_7722
Afterward we went to a small carnival at the playgrounds.  My little bird perched on the top of the monkey bars.

Jenny & Jason's wedding

IMG_7560
Before the wedding we rested in our hotel room and discovered Animal Planet.
IMG_7609
Nate was so far beyond excited to wear his tux to be a ring bearer.  "I look like Bruce Wayne!"
IMG_7605
Annabelle was dubbed "The Greeter who couldn't be sweeter"  She gave out programs & fans.  We had so many compliments on her maturity & grace.
IMG_7603
They really do clean up well : )
IMG_7578
He was so intent on his mission to deliver the rings.
