Every year for Christmas I buy myself a necklace charm with my kids picture on it.   This will be this years photo.  I love it so.

Nana's birthday in the mountains

Our family headed to the mountains on a beautiful fall day to celebrate Nana’s birthday. We had an awesome lunch at Oakhurst which I left my camera in the car. I wish I had a picture of Nana with her 4 grand kids to commemorate. Unfortunately Jeremy had to leave right after. We did head over to 7 Springs with Mandy, Josh, Karen & Kurt to enjoy Autumnfest and walk off our big lunch.
Unfortunately, Autumnfest did not start until the following week : / We did take advantage of the non crowded status, Mandy & Josh took the kids to ride the slide.
Nate & Josh were so fast I missed them gliding down the mountain. Annabelle & Mandy came down red faced and giggling.
Then we stopped in the game room to play a bit.
Nate *loved* the motorcycle game.
A wonderful day was had by all.

Land Shark!

I can't believe I forgot this one.

Field Trip

We attended Nate’s 1st field trip at Kerber’s Dairy with the entire school. There was a hayride.
Mini pumkin picking.
Photo fun with cut outs.
Ice cream (not pictured) and playground time with friends.
Tractor tires bigger than Nate.
This picture did not turn out anything like I thought it would, but for some reason I love it even more.

Idlewild visit 9 - Oktoberfest

Idlewild held Oktoberfest for the first time this year.  We were blessed with beautiful weather, good food and a polka/accordion player that gave us the opportunity to Hokey Pokey.

Nate's 1st day of school 9-5-12

Future Nate, I'm sorry it took me so long to document this.

Nate started school after Labor Day. He literally skipped across the parking lot singing "Preschool here I come!".  There were no tears (from him), he couldn't wait to get in the door.

He knows this school, he knows the teachers from various functions with Annabelle over the past 2 years.  He finally isn't the one waving from the doorway telling us to have a good day, he is the big boy waving as I try to swallow the lump formed in my throat.  He is the one who runs to me yelling "Mommy, I had just the best day!" in the afternoon.  He is the one with the blue & grey lunchbox that includes Angry Bird cheese nips. He is my heart.
