Some of the moments from our hospital stay with Evlyn that I don't want to forget...
Our first Texas baby and ALL our family was there (aside from our sweeties in D.C.)

Top left: One of the nursery nurses swaddled Evlyn tight and placed her on her tummy in the bassinet while I filled out paperwork. I looked up a few minutes later to see her blinking at me from the bassinet and felt my heart melt a bit. Such a sweet baby! *** Top right: Michael received a "Daddy shirt" from the nurses before we went into the O.R. They put Evlyn's tiny footprints on it right after she was born and we were able to keep the shirt as a souvenir. We joked that it was part of the Baylor Frisco experience since there were many parts of our stay that seemed so special: birthday cake at every meal, a large nicely decorated guest room with a flat screen TV, a minky embroidered blanket to take home for the baby, free snacks for all our guests, just to name a few! *** Bottom Left: Jonah and Gracie meeting Baby Evlyn - love my munchkins!!! *** Bottom right: When Baby Evlyn was born, the nurses told us they must have startled her out of a good sleep because she was SO MAD. She cried more in the first 5 minutes after delivery than the entire first week she was home.

Kellie was one of the 5 nurses who looked after us during our 3 days at Baylor Frisco. They were all wonderful - but we sure loved Kellie!
