Alamo

Here are just a few pictures from Easter weekend in Alamo.

Ben decided that Tyler needed to take a ride in his race truck.

Out helping Sam and Tyler fix fence. Would not leave the puppy at home.

Coloring Easter Eggs

This was Matthew's first year where he could actually color Easter eggs by himself, so we went to Aunt Jolene's and colored eggs with Emily, Laynie and the girls. We didn't have a very good kit to use so we ended up decorating them with markers and Matty loved it. Thanks for helping girls.

This was the first egg he colored. I turned my back for two seconds and he had smashed it and broke it in half.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Last Sunday we had a surprise birthday for Grandpa Edwin, who turned 87. It was in Alamo and a lot of Matty's little cousins were there, so they had an early Easter Egg hunt. The kids had so much fun.

Here are a bunch of Matty's little cousins, the great-grandchildren. They are going to have so much fun when they get older. This is only the Higbee side and I think we are missing some.

Making a mad dash to get some candy.
Checking out his loot.

March

Here are some cute pictures from March. We finally had some warm days where we could go to the park and Matty loved it.
I had to post this picture of Matthew and Kenzee for Marcy because she thinks that Matthew is so mean to her. I just wanted to prove that he is starting to be a little nicer to her.

This was the last picture I have of Matthew and Caleb before they moved. Matthew is sad not to see his cousins anymore and asks for them all time.

February - Mt. Charleston

Here is another picture in the snow. Me and Marcy took the kids to Mt. Charleston to play and eat breakfast. I am glad it has finally started to warm up. Matthew was not a big fan of the cold.

Roping in Mesquite - January

"Please buy me a rope dad."

I am going to start with some pictures from January, so that maybe I can do a whole year's worth of posts. I have a few months to catch up on.

This was on one of our little camping trips to Moapa. Uncle Lucas built this teeter-totter at Chet's house one weekend. The kids loved it except for the handles. They couldn't hold on very well so they ended up just laying down on it.

A few weeks later at our house playing in the snow. Crazy weather here in southern Nevada.
