Tonight we had Travis Trickey over for dinner. He just moved to Vegas to play football at UNLV. He is so sweet and the kids liked him.

great find & first time camping

This is my great find. I got two new pairs of jeans for Cam at a second hand children's store. One pair is The Children's Place the other is Old Navy. I also got this cute pair of shoes. They are in perfect shape and they will fit her all winter. All together it was $18, Love that!

I had to buy her pants because Daniel took us on our first family camp out. We went to Duck Creek, UT for one night. Timmy came with us and we had a lot of fun. Cam slept great in the tent (I was a little worried). Next weekend is the Nicoll Family reunion and we will be camping for a few nights. I think Dan was trying to see if I could hack it, by taking me out for one night.

Dan called yesterday from work and told me that he had shot himself with the nail gun and he was on his way to the hospital. OH GREAT! He said he would call me when he got close to the hospital and I could meet him there. He even sent a picture of the lovely wound. I was getting ready to wake Camdyn up from her nap so we could head to the ER when I get another call. He was just kidding the whole thing was fake!!!! This is where I have to remind myself that I do love this guy, even when he does these sort of things!:)

shouldn't he be too busy to do this sort of stuff at work! I think I need to talk to his boss! :)

Last night we went out to dinner with Timmy and Tori to the Belagio. It was so yummy and everything there is so pretty. But of course I didn't bring my camera.
Rylee watched Camdyn for us. I have only left her a handful of times (except for the temple). I am a little bit of a freak and worry way more that I should, so much that if we leave her I can't have fun! But I know I have to just do it for her sake and mine!
Rylee said she did have a break down, not surprising because she is used to me being with her 24/7. Maybe next time she will do better...and me too. Thanks Ry!
This is her right now at 7:20 am still sleeping! this never happens, but I'll take it. She ended up in our bed this morning because Duke woke her up at 5:00 ready to play! If it's not one it's the other.

Hanging out with the Woolf's

This weekend we went to Flagstaff to meet our newest niece, Miss Kali Jett. She is too cute for words. She is so tiny you could forget you were holding her. She is so good, she lets Kenzi haul her around and Camdyn and Kooper love on her.

We went on a short drive to Lake Mary. Of course Camdyn couldn't resist the water and was soaking wet in a matter of minutes. Her and Kooper both ended up running around naked!

Outside of Flag there was this field with yellow flowers that were everywhere. I couldn't resist stopping and taking pictures. I had to wake Camdyn up so she wasn't in the mood for pictures but you get the idea of how pretty it was.

Love thy neighbor

...I really do! We have the best neighbors ever! Which is great because you can practically reach out our window and touch their house! I feel like I am living in a small town again. They drop by to say hello, bring treats just because and help us with anything we need. They all love Camdyn and Duke, that's important too because I am usually pulling one of them out of their yard or house!

here are a few examples of why we love them:

This was sitting on our doorstep the other night, all wrapped up with Camdyn's name on it. Popsicle makers!

Our neighbors got a new washer so they can't use this detergent any more. I am stocked up for months now!

Zucchini brought over by our other neighbor, he went to the orchards near by and brought us back some yummy stuff!

The lawnmower given to us, that's right they just gave it to us! They don't have grass in their yard so they let us have it!

This might not seem unusual for anyone from Eagar, possibly Utah or any other small town. But for Vegas this is huge! We LOVE living here!
