One more post...
Hi there! Yes, I'm still alive. Although I don't feel like it because we are all recovering from the stomach virus at our house. But I wanted to at least get one more blog post in before the end of the year... considering my last one was in August!
We have had a busy last few months. JC turned one year old and its just been surreal. Ever since he started crawling and walking, I have been on my toes! I've always heard that boys get into more stuff than girls, and I totally believe it now! Don't get me wrong, I remember Sweet Pea getting into her fair share, but it just seems so different with JC.
As far as me, I've had a few changes over the last few months. I found another job that seemed like a dream job, and I was fooled. I hated it. Everything about it. So I made the decision to go back to the hospital and I'm much happier there. Remember, never burn your bridges, and money isn't everything! :)
Mr. Right has been having issues with his shoulder for a few months. He's been on light duty for a little while and they were trying cortisone shots. But they finally decided to go ahead and scope his shoulder on the 4th. He will be out for another 2-4 weeks I believe.
Mr. Right and I have a little announcement. We are expecting another baby in June 2013! This was a surprise for us, but we are very excited about it. And I've come to the conclusion that we are the most fertile people in the world. So come June, you may never hear from me because I'll be chasing THREE rugrats around and I may never sleep again! Ha!
Well I guess that covers everything, or at least all I can remember right now. I need to get the last few months posted for JC's monthly pictures. But I'll get around to it soon. New year's resolution maybe??? Be a better blogger? We'll see.... Talk to y'all soon!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Be safe!

JC – 8 months old!
Y’all… These pictures make me want to boo hoo!!!! He looks so big and so little boyish… rather than babyish. Did that make any sense? Well. It did to me. :)
Anywho. He is 8 months old, as of the 12th of August. I weighed him yesterday and he was 17.6 lbs!
He did not want to lay still for pictures…
…so we tried sitting in the chair…
…and he just wanted to crawl out of it or over the side. Ha!
“Mom, are we done with pictures yet??”
He is such a busy little boy these days. He’s crawling everywhere. He’s pulling up on stuff and holding on with one hand. He has two teeth (the second one just broke through a couple of days ago). He has to put everything in his mouth. And I mean everything. His favorite snack happens to be his sister’s flip flops. Ewwww!!!! I know! I keep telling her to take them to the bedroom when she takes them off, but she doesn’t listen… :-/ Anywho. He’s such a happy baby and he has me wrapped around his little finger. :) He is saying “da da” a LOT lately. But the word “ma ma” has yet to leave his little mouth. He’s just saving the best for last. Hehehe!
JC, Mommy, Daddy, and Sweet Pea love you bunches and bunches!!!!

JC is…5, 6, and 7 months old!
I know, I know…. I’m terrible at this blogging thing lately! And poor JC… all I can say is “second child syndrome”! Not that he is abandoned or anything! But as far as documenting his life and all that good stuff… I am slacking. Big time. I still have not bought him a baby book. Agh! I just want to crawl in a hole now!
Anyway… I figured I would at least post a few pictures of him over the past few months since his last post was 4 months old.
In advance, I do apologize for the blurry phone pictures! But guess what?!?! I have a new camera!!!! Nothing fancy, but it is much better than my phone!
Now… carry on. :)
5 months old…
“Who are you and why are you in my crib?!”
6 months old…
Sweet Pea wanted to get in on the fun. These two just melt my heart!
and 7 months… (these aren’t as blurry)
He was staring at Paw Paw. I couldn’t get him to look at the camera.
Now, staring at Sweet Pea…
Sweet Pea thought she would help out with trying to make him smile
Giving her brother hugs. Haha!
8 months… coming soon!

Making friends!
Hi! I’m Cherish from Alabama.
I totally agree with Kelly on the fact that it is hard to make new friends as an adult. Especially after you have children! I’ve tried making friends on the internet (twitter, blogs, etc…) but sometimes I feel invisible. Ha! So, I’m going to give this a try and hope to make some lifelong friends in my area. :)
So, I’m from the central Alabama area (about 30-45 minutes from Birmingham). I’m a phlebotomist (draw blood) and I work a local hospital in the lab. I love my job, for the most part.
I’m married to my best friend (Adam). He is a police officer.
We have two little blessings, Grace (3 years old) and Carter (4 months old). We love our babies so much and wouldn’t know what to do without them!
If you are from my area and decide to stop by my blog, leave a comment and say hi! Thanks! :)
(And please excuse the fact that I am in desperate need of a blog makeover/update.)
JC – Four months old!
JC turned 4 months old (on the 12th)!!!! Time is getting away from me sooooo fast!
His 4 month check up was the 24th. He weighed 14 lbs 14 oz (50%tile) and was 25 inches tall (75%tile) and 16 3/4 inches head circumference (65%tile). Maybe he will be tall or at least a little above average on height. :)
Y’all, he is such a happy baby. He is always smiles, unless we aren’t fast enough with his bottle. He really enjoys playing with his toys. He wants to put anything and everything in his mouth. The boy is constantly drooling, but we have yet to see any teeth coming through.
In the past month, he has had his first sickness. He came down with an upper respiratory infection. He was just pitiful. Luckily, I was off for the first few days of him being sick. I would have been a wreck if I had to leave him. But he is much better now. :)
When he turned 4 months old, I started feeding him cereal. He was a little hesitant at first, but loved it! He did so well too! He ate like it was nothing new to him. I’ve never seen a baby catch on to spoon feeding as fast as he did.
When we went to the doctor for his check up, he said we could start on fruits and veggies. He has tried apples, pears, and bananas so far and loved all of them. It was so funny with his first bite. He just held it in his mouth for a few seconds because he noticed the difference in taste (it wasn’t JUST cereal this time!) but quickly realized that this stuff actually had FLAVOR and loved it.
He sometimes tries to grab the spoon from me and put it in his own mouth. I can already tell he is going to be very independent like his sister! Lord help me! Ha!
He is rolling over from tummy to back really well. And apparently he can roll from back to tummy now????? Or maybe he did it by accident??? Tonight while I was putting supper on the table, I put him on his play mat with his toys. Mr. Right made the comment that he was rolling around over there. I guess he rolled from back to tummy, but neither one of us saw him do it… so I guess it doesn’t count yet… ;)
He is starting to sit up the tripod way (hand-hand-bottom).
He was finishing off his juice in the picture below. He will hold the bottle for a few seconds every now and then.
He loves his sister so much. He loves to watch her and see what she is up to. I just hope he doesn’t pick up on some of her mischievousness. ;)
I just can’t get over how quickly he’s growing. In a couple of months, he will be half a year old. It just doesn’t seem right! *TEAR* Oh well… that’s life. Here are some other random photos…
I love that fuzzy little head.
Sweet Pea, JC, and I at their well check up.
I decided to try some styling products in his hair. We used some of my Bed Head Manipulator to make a baby mohawk. It turned out sooooo cute!!
I just can’t get enough of this baby boy!
JC, we love you so much! Stop growing so fast!
