Fall 2013 Silas and I took a trip to visit family while Chet had a month long class to attend. We started our tour in Ohio. Silas took to Myrah right away!
He had a hard time staying on his mattress when there weren't crib bars holding him there.
He loved Baby Judah, and showed it with hugs and kisses, and sitting on him.
Of course there was the obligatory cousins-sharing-a-bath photo
Our trip included Halloween. Since almost the entire immediate family would be in town we decided it was the perfect opportunity to throw a party! We invited all aunts and uncles to our bash that included a sweet potions' table and costumes all around.
"We Care!"
Mmmmm! Skyline Chili!
A day playing at a farm. The cousins had so much fun playing in the corn box,
Petting the animals, and sliding on the huge slide (not pictured here)
A different day was spent on the playground. Those babies had a swingin' time.
The whole family (minus three of the husbands) enjoying dinner together at our local dinner fave: Copper Blue
Spread far and wide normally means when we come together we get Christmas! Here's to Christmas in October!
We visited Columbus, Ohio's Fire Museum. The boys had fun being fire fighters for a few minutes.
The Cincinnati Zoo was also a hit with the kids.
The three older boys shared a bedroom, and a couple mornings the older cousins would climb in the crib with Silas to keep him company until someone big enough could help get him out. Precious!
It was so fun adventuring with the Newberry family. We were sooo happy to see everyone and to watch the cousins play together. Hopefully we can make trips like this happen more and more!
Our next stop was in Provo, UT. We stayed with Aunt Missy and visited with the Nufers.
Silas was a patient little model for this gingerbread drawing.
And he had fun doing some artwork of his own.
He sure had fun sharing toys with Baby Ella.
Next stop: Boise
