Oh! Exams. Yeah. Well, somehow with the 5 days odd break between Legal Theory and Contract has made me feel like I have all the time in the world. Which is why my studying is extremely lax and I only hit about 6-7 hours of studying time everyday (which includes walking around the house, napping between topics and what not so it's damn not accurate I feel so insecure)
But it's amazing to think that in a week or so we'll be free for the next 3 months. 3 glorious glorious months where I can relax and sleep until 2 PM and no one will complain and I won't feel guilty. Results be damned. I don't care much anymore. (Until the weekend where I'll probably panic because not enough time since weekends normally spent in church OH WELL)
Though after exams I still have quite a lot of stuff to do, besides meeting up with people who once uni started have been busy stuffing their faces with knowledge (unlike me), baking baking baking (I've been chocolate banned so erm, I guess baking means for friends/family and not for me, my precious chocolate fudge brownies and cupcakes ohhhh), swimming and badminton and football! Chelsea-ing, either learning jazz piano or back to the guitar. WOOT. Yayness. Until 26th may cos that's when the results are out. Quek's birthday too.
Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool for the Champions League semi-final first leg. OMG. YAY. Though Chelsea's lack of goals even though it was terribly terribly possible in the first half... hopefully it won't haunt them. Amanda messaged me all the way from Aussie to tell me the result. It wasn't just the result that made me grin like an idiot for a while, it was just... missing her.
The Lord will give me the motivation to study. LOVE.

Otherwise, go to www.chris-tine87.livejournal.com
Melanie has just told me that SN changed all the blackboards to greenboards (which is kind of like whiteboards which uses markers but it's green because apparently the whiteboards reflect light which isn't good for students) Anyway, it means no more chalk stealing and chalk writing on their uniforms. Thank goodness, I still remember going up to Yishu and scolding her for taking chalk and demanding them from her and what did she do? She broke the chalk in half and tried to give me only one piece. HA I'M NOT BLIND YOU KNOW.

So I'm sorry but if you really care, you'll have to check both. Haha. Happy CNY...

An annoying little pipsqueak whose name I shall not mention (though it's not like he can sue me in defamation I'm sure I can find some defence like justification/fair comment) constantly talks about Chelsea's money and hooboy, irritating everyone by bragging about the strengths of his team without any evidential proof (or so far that I've read- was too disgusted to go further than the last 10 pages). What should be written are constructive comments rather than things that will incite true fans of football. Guess which team he supports?
I'm not saying as a fan you aren't entitled to saying "Chelsea rocks" or "Arsenal rocks" or any other team. I'm just saying, don't criticize other teams by insulting them just to raise the 'standard' of your team, it's just like how who's good and who's not should be settled on the pitch, through results, rather than by mudslinging.
What a paradox the phrase 'the beautiful game' has become. Not just on the pitch, but off it.
I know it's been going on since forever, and people are sure to say they're entitled to their own opinion, but surely it's one thing to express your opinion and another to blatently ignore the fact that we're living in a civilized world? (I'm sure the counter argument will be that football isn't a civilized sport- so I ask "is that still considered a beautiful game"?)
I know many football fans who respect the game. They may pass the occasional insult but it's all in good fun. So again the distinguishing factor is just how much malice goes into their 'insults'.
By all means, enjoy the game with a few choiced comments/bad language during the game but stay clear of insults that bear such malice and contempt for teams other than your own. Like I said before, I may love Chelsea but I'm not one to shy away from acknowledging when the team is playing like crap (but throw my support to them because that's when they need it most) and give credit to rival teams that have done well, like United at the moment and Liverpool at Home!
(In other comments, I see many weird legal terms thrown in as a result of my memorial with defamation and evidential proofs-AIYA HELP)

Praise God.
Even if you never really believed it, that it would be possible, I didn't stop believing for you.
I love you.
Even when you steal my laptop and act so annoying and refuse to let me do my work and when you go on and on and on about what you're supposed to do with your life. Haha.
Like you said, we're family and we can't leave each other even if we wanted to.

It's scary how fast time slips by almost unnoticed. Last sem I was painfully aware of the time, because I was in tears almost every week because I lived in constant fear of failure. That fear didn't go away, but the realization that the fear was taking over my life and keeping me from truly loving/living/knowing God that reduced it to a resignation of sorts.
I don't know what I'm doing with my life. I question the use of the modules in law, much as I dislike LAWR, I understand it's use. But of legal theory, you got me there. I only hope to throw as much smoke as I possibly can in exams and get the hell outta there by the time it's over.
When everyone is studying or taking a break with FM or WoW, I'm Mapling. Okay, so I just did that ONCE today. What can I say? My sister deleted WE from my computer. Back to LAWR
