Just One Of Those Days

Have you ever had one of those days were you start out excited for it and within oh about an hour you can't wait until you can turn off the lights and hop into bed until the next day? Today is my day like that....here are my complaints.
1. Come home from Zumba and I have 2 kids claiming to be sick and need to stay home.
2. On the way taking the only kid to school that is going I look down at my hand and yes my entire crown of my wedding ring including the diamond I just got about 2 years a ago is busted off and missing.
3. Take my one kid to the doc to find out he is pretty much just fine and could of gone to school
4. Major headache on strong now and oh yes now it's my turn for the cold, still searching for my ring.
5. Argue with two kids for over 2 hours to clean their room, still searching for ring.
6. Argue with all kids to stop wrestling.
7. Argue with kids to help me clean up dishes after dinner, I've given up now on ever finding my ring.
8. We can see the kids need to go to bed early so we read scriptures early...Coby decides he's going to bed instead of joining us and kicks my scriptures right off the couch.
9. Yes I am currently still arguing with my child that now he has to stay in bed since he made that choice.
10. Blogging now so I wont harm anyone and yes it's now 7:50 and I think I will be in bed asleep
by 8:30..........Can't wait for tomorrow....I think!

Fun During The Break

We had lots of fun during the break and my camera missed lots of it, lets just say we are having major camera trouble. My camera fell of the car during sod laying, Chris lost his, and so we are using our pioneer camera from forever ago that does not work like a charm.

Any how my parents took the entire family to Pirate Island including Conner's best friend who was staying with us. So bugged...no pics of Cade or the family.

Conner hugging Grandpa & Grandma to tell them Thanks!

Wait there is one of Cade

A friend of mine gave me this pan for Christmas, they make Danish Pancakes called something like Abelskivers. These little balls are delicious, we filled ours with fresh strawberry jam, some with nutella and lathered them in whipped cream...Yum!

We went to Jungle Jims, my mom had bought wrist bands on sale and they were going to expire so my brother and I went up with the kids. It was for sure an adventure...Coby brought his friend Elle who puked in the car 2 minutes from the place. I sent the kids in to have fun and ran to Checker to get air freshener and cleaner and cleaned the car and then waited in the car with her for 50 minutes until her mom got there with clothes for her...Poor thing was really embarrassed! Up above is my nieces Halley and Brinley with Kelbi on one of the rides.
Niece Halley, Coby, and friend Elle

Kelbi kept yelling at me because she didn't want any pictures taken of her. She literally rode this carousel 12 times.

Brin and Kelb on the jeeps

Kelbi yelling at me for taking another picture, she really was excited for the ride just not the picture. We went to Golden Corral after so the kids could eat till they were sick.

The boys got in some sledding, we finally got lots of snow. My mom, Kelbi and I went on a girls night out, ate at Olive Garden, and saw Tangled. The boys were too busy playing with their friend who was staying here that they refused to go to any movies. Another night Chris, Cade, and I along with friends and my parents went and saw True Grit. We Spent New Years at some friends with our kids and had a great time. I really was sad to see the break over I wasn't done having fun!

Christmas Pictures

So here are the pictures that should of made it onto our Christmas cards but we were just way to slow...just thought we would post them anyway...why not?

Really I just wanted you all to see Kelbi in her cute little Christmas Dress!

Christmas Day 2010

Christmas Day was wonderfully quiet and relaxing this year complete with a 3 hour nap snuggling my husband and daughter.
For Kelbi it was the year of the doll house complete with all the furniture.

She was more than thrilled and still plays with this every day
I wrapped a present for Coby and Conner to share & put it under the tree December 1st, it drove them crazy all month. For sure it was the firs present they wanted to open...a butterfly and lady bug hatching kit which they will be able to receive the larvae and caterpillars in the spring.

Year of the rugged outdoors man for Cade, this is him opening his new waders for fishing on the Provo River.

Year of the Knex Roller Coaster for Coby and Halo Mega Bloks for Conner as well as Coby

Conner's main gift wish...The Pelican Drop Ship....oh the excitement! This is why we got a nap, the boys were building all day long quietly.

Oh ya! Wahoo!

A game we told Cade no way we would get and darn that Santa he gave in, Cade was totally shocked and yet another reason we got a lovely nap he was glued to the PS3 all day.

Coby was so excited to give me his gift he made, he took the camera and told me he would take pictures of me opening it...I guess he forgot about me. It is a totally cute little calendar for 2011. Also lets not forget the pirate ship he made me out of cardboard and painted.

Mr. Mature also got his first leather wallet...it was time.

Princess Kelbi in her new dress up.

Finished product!

K'nex roller coaster...now that was interesting! It said 9+ on the box so we knew it would stretch
Coby a bit but he is really good at building. Long story short it took dad 2 days to put this baby together and it had 147 steps in it....kind of anticlimactic to watch after that much work but Coby sure loves it!

Pelican Drop Ship all built! Took Conner until 4:30 to complete this one.

The thing Chris misses the most about Christmas without his family is the finger sandwiches and salads, so I decided that was what we were having for Christmas dinner. We invited Becca and her kids over since her husband was working. We had a great time.

The spread! Ya I don't know I must have thought I was feeding an army, we ate this for like 3 days until my family refused to eat it another day.

I loved Christmas this year, it truly was a beautiful special day!

Christmas Eve 2010

The above picture is really fuzzy but night before Christmas Eve Kelbi and I went delivering gifts in her PJ's because she was jealous the boys delivered the neighbor gifts and got to say "Merry Christmas" and she wanted to say "Merry Christmas" . Anyway finally I gave in and took her with me to deliver a Sub for Santa gift and took gifts to three of my friends here. She apparently got into something at my friends house while playing with their kids because I noticed her tugging at her lip as we were leaving. I came home started doing the dishes and she comes out and says mom my lip is blowing up. I take one look at her and freak out, her lip grew so big I thought it would pop, I gave her Benadryl, called my neighbor who works at Primary Childrens Hospital and she told me to run to the hospital because her throat would probably be next. I watched her and noticed the swelling going down so I opted to wait it out and it went down and all is well, but we have an allergy out there somewhere to something I have no idea about!
We celebrated Christmas Eve at my parents house and my mom went way crazy on planning and it was wonderful. We had a fabulous turkey and ham dinner. Cade and Conner went over earlier in the day to help my mom and Cade got to carve the turkey this year. Chris, Coby, Kelbi, and I went to drop off a gift to Chris' mom and then out for Mexican food at our favorite joint. So check out my dad above....he had surgery on his shoulder and the poor guy had to endure all of us yelling and being annoying.

Love em, Love em!

Santa mad an appearance at our party & he really did his homework! He knew all their names and what they had done naughty and nice this year!

Kelbi was hilarious! Santa asked her if she had dolls and she said yes, next he asked her if they had names and she responded in a duh type tone yes, next he asks her what the names are and she says...dolls (duh voice again.) She then tells him she would like a car and he asks her if she would like a big car a little car and she says a big car meaning a real one.

Girls Christmas PJ's

Boys Chirstmas PJ's and yes my mother did get them for all of the men as well.

Nice!!!

Us women got a little more distinguished black PJ's

My mom and dad spoiled all of us rotten with gifts and PJ's, they seriously are the best parents you could ever ask for and not because of the spoiling although that is nice but because they are always there for us whether it's time, a listening ear, helping out, having fun or whatever we need. I am truly grateful for them, what a hard act to follow they are.
