Mason's Birthday

Happy Birthday Mighty Mouse!! Mason turned 11 years old on July 17th and enjoyed every second of the day. He was lucky enough to have a bit of summer school and share some ice cream sandwiches with his friends at school. We then opened a few presents and had ice cream sandwiches on his actual birthday so that we could sing and have a treat. Mason wouldn't allow us to go without having something that day!

If you remember back at Christmas time Mason got a plasma ball and loved it to death! There was an accident with said plasma ball and he got a new one for his birthday. This time there was no question as to what it did and he was thrilled! He tried to share with Cameron and was perplexed as to why Cameron didn't like it so much.

Why blow out make shift candles when I could play with the fire instead??
 Cameron sampling the ice cream.
For the real party mom built a lovely ice cream cake for our Mighty Mouse.
He wanted to watch his new movies from some friends immediately--Arthur and the Invisible's.
The joy that this kid brings us is immeasurable. Look at this face and tell me you don't agree. He challenges us, adds new routines and complications to just go on one day out, but I couldn't trade that for anything!! Mason loves being loved and loves showing his love--and what more could you ask for.

Torch Relay

Our local town had the Olympic Torch run through and the hype and excitement in the air was not to be missed. The crowds were huge, but it was a fun time to go out and support the London Olympics.

Most photos were courtesy of Carter who stood in the front with Taylor--he did a great job!

Cuteness is a problem

Cuteness is contagious in this house and a serious problem that I don't think we will ever get rid of.
