Hallie Turns 3!

Hallie turned 3 on December 1st
This ornament pretty much sums her up!
Can you tell someone has been stealing frosting all day?
My cute cupcake and polka dot girls
We have a tradition of putting her birthday presents under the Christmas tree. To live up to her ornament above, she actually opened most of her presents earlier in the month, but I wasn't about to go get new ones, so I just wrapped them up again! Ya, she's going to have to work really hard to get off the naughty list this year.
Even with all the trouble that follows her around, our family wouldn't be complete without our "Little Monster". Happy Birthday Hallie Bear!!!

Amy goes to Kindergarten!

The day finally arrived! Amy is a Kindergartener!
She was waiting all morning to finally get to go to school.
We finally arrived and waited in line with her friend, Claire.
Then it was time to go to class. This look says, "You're coming, right, Mom?"

She found her spot on the rug with her name
And we listened as the teacher read a story and poem about the first day of school and leaving mom and dad. Stupid teacher. I was doing just fine and then she had to go and make me cry.

Samantha and Amy got to ride the bus home together which was really nice and reassuring.
Samantha was such a great big sister today--she even played with Amy at recess.
In Amy's words, "It was AWESOME!"
