I am horrible and didn't get any pictures of our Thanksgiving this year, so I just posted a couple of the things I am most grateful for. We went to my dads on Thursday and then to my moms on Friday. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed spending time with our family. This thanksgiving I have really been trying to focus on my blessings and help my Children see how much we have to be grateful for. I want to name just a few of the many things taht I am grateful for this Holiday season.
1. My husband, I am so lucky to have a husband who loves me and the Lord.
2. My children, I can't think about them without crying lately. I realize how blessed I am to have them, I love them so much.
3. My family, I love having them so close and that they are such a big part of our lives.
4. The Gospel
5. Freedom, to be living in this country.
6. The priesthood in my home.
7. The temple. Chuck and I have been going once a week the past little while and it really has been such a strength to me, I am so grateful that we have a temple so close and that I can attend so often.
8. Our freinds. We have the best friends and neighbors, I would not be the same without them.
9. The opportunity for higher education. I am so grateful that Chuck has the opportunities that he has, and that he works so hard to achive his dreams.
10. My Savior. My best friend, my support, my rock, what more can I say.
11. My home. I am so grateful we have such a beautiful home.
12. Healthy Children. We have had a few scares lately with the health of our children that have made me realize how blessed we are to have healthy, strong, intelligent children.
13. My juicer, this may sound odd, but I love having my fresh juice in the morning. And my kids stay healthy all winter if I juice for them everyday.
14. My new calling. I just got called as a ward missionary, it is definately stretching me, but that is why I am grateful.
15. My trials. I am grateful for the person that they help me to become. I am trying so hard to focus on being grateful for them instead of begrudging them. I really am so grateful that my Heavenly Father loves me so much, that he will give me the experiances that I need to become like him (even if it takes me like a million years to come anywhere close=)
I am grateful for the times that get me to reflect on my blessings and all that I have. I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving.
