So after months and months of waiting it is finally happening. We have had an offer in on this house since April. And finally they sold it to someone else... Luckily he was going to flip it and is happy to simply sell it to us :) Unfortunately, a short sale means that it is not in a pretty condition. But we will close soon and start tackling that. Here are the photos I took at the inspection.
Upstairs living room. I am so ready to knock out those wood bars on the pass through between the living room and kitchen.
Here is a kitchen shot. It is, actually, not too bad. Once it gets scrubbed with bleach from top to bottom I think it will be fine. The floor is laminate, which is great, our kids have been hard on the hard wood we have in this house.
Eating side of the kitchen.
Other kitchen view. Not huge but with a storage unit from our newly opened Ikea I think it will do just fine.
This bathroom is usable. We are debating keeping the tube and tile, they are dirty but in good shape. Vanity, toliet and peel and stick floor is going.
And this light fixture that is so old someone may like it for it's retroness- that someone is not me.
This is Mark's favorite room- he really wants it to be his because of the color. It actually looks more pleasant in the photo than in real life- it is DARK. Although not as dark as the navy blue room. (our home inspector is using an inferred camera and could tell us that the air conditioning was coming out at 54 degrees here- very cool. He also checked out the insulation in the attic and said it was good)
This may be the only room with out furniture in it- a roll off will be step one.
This is a piece of broken trip leading to the downstairs. The railing is in the living room for this flight.
This will be the biggest project. This bathroom is going- everything in it.
Downstairs bedroom 1. I am planning on this being the kids room.
Large sectional left in the family room
The family room has this side room part. I think this will have kids toys.
