You weighed 8.12 lbs. (1%) and were 20.25 inches at your one
month appointment. Still a little tyke, but your newborn clothes were finally
starting to fit! We used the word vigorous to describe you as you were
constantly moving all around, kicking your feet, fighting the swaddle blanket,
and all over the place! You had great head control starting at about 2 weeks
and started rolling yourself over when propped up on the boppy. We knew you
were on a mission!

1 Month Old
We shared our concerns with our fabulous pediatrician about
your colic tendencies, reflux, and lots of screaming, as well as your skin
problems and she quickly suspected that you might have a milk protein allergy.
She recommended we try a hypoallergenic formula or donor breast milk that from
a dairy free donor. We were blessed by a great donor that was a friend of a
friend, however you continued to have tummy issues and fussiness with this so
we switched over to the specialty formula.
You finally were able to feel better after weeks of
struggles and started to become a different baby! At 1 month you started to be
more aware of your surroundings and we first noticed that you would stare at
the birds dangling above your bouncer seat. It was so fun to watch as you
looked at them with the most perplexed look on your face as to why these things
were flying above you.
We continue to be in awe of your cuteness and love having you
home with us.
What are those things?
You loved to sleep like this!
I think I'm so big!
Don't really fit in the stroller yet, but only way you would sleep at times was by walking up and down the street!

Celebrating Eli
We were overwhelmed with the blessings of friends from work
and our small group that put together the sweetest showers/sip and sees for
Eli. They blessed us greatly and I can honestly say having him at the shower
was the best part! So fun for lots of friends that have been part of Eli’s
story and prayed for us for a long time to be able to snuggle him and love on
him.
These were beautiful flowers that arrived to our hotel in Tampa from my family. So special to feel their presence from afar!
Our Small Group hosted a great celebration for Eli
