Emery's CHRISTMAS Program and ART show!!

On Dec. 12th Emery had her Christmas Program and Art Show at St. Paul!!
My precious little girl posing for the camera before we left home!
I dropped her off at class and then had a little photo op of the fun art goodies!!

The Flying Fish have def been working hard this year!!
Emery did SO SO GOOD!! Her class sang "Santa Claus is Coming to Town!" and she spoke in the microphone when it was here turn!! I was so PROUD of her!!

Such a PRECIOUS class!!
After the show we got to share some cookies and snacks together!!
So thankful Nana and Pawpaw could join us! Now that Pawpaw's retired he gets to come to all these fun events!! We are LOVING it!!

This hot mess wasn't all about taking a picture with Mommy and Daddy....but I posted it anyways!! Silly thing!!

Crawford and Emery!! Best FRIENDS FOREVER!! There weren't all about giving me a good pic until I told them to be SILLY!!

A closeup of Emery's goodies!!
Everything turned out so CUTE!! The do the art show and ask for donations. This year they chose to give the money to Habitat for Hope!! A sweet and dear charity that I love!! We were ALL so thankful to be a part of helping them out during this giving season!!

Max's FIRST Field Trip!!

Dec. 10th Max had a Field Trip to LeBonheur Children's Hospital to sing a Christmas program for the sick little kids! Not many kids came to the lobby but the hospital actually videoed the performance live and had it on the TVs in the kids room so the ones that couldn't come down could watch! So FUN!

The Forest Hill Campus JK class and the Ridgelake Campus JK class did this together so it was fun to see our other ECS friends!

The program was really sweet!!

I loved being a part of it!! And especially loved that I am fortunate enough to tag along.
Also thankful for being able to spread a little Jesus to others who may not get that ever!

Trying to grab a quick photo of some busy busy 4 and 5 year olds!! Not always easy!
Afterwards we headed to a nursing home. The kiddos did a little caroling around the nursing home during lunch time. Only the teachers could go with the kids so us parents sat back and got lunch ready for the kids. Hence why I don't have any pics of the nursing home either. We ate some yummy lunch and then we called it a day! Max and I went and shared a little time together before picking Em up at school!

We are THANKFUL!!

So THANKFUL!!! So BLESSED!!
This year we made another Thankful Tree!! We tried to add to it every few nights different things we were Thankful for. Just a way to remember Thanksgiving and spirit of the month of Nov.
We weren't very good about doing it EVERY night but I think it was good we started early and could really talk about all the things that we are truly THANKFUL for!!
It helped out A LOT when we were faced with a yucky stomach virus that kept us away from family over the holiday! I will spare details but all of us were sick for 4-5 days. And we didn't have it at the same time so it spread out for a week and a half almost 2 weeks span. Sigh...
So....we may have been sick and away from family but we still had so much MORE to be THANKFUL for!! We could look at the tree and see some of the many many things!!
Love that this year Max wanted to write some of his own things he was Thankful for!
And Em wanted me to draw Crawford and her holding hands!

Some of our leaves were just plain and simple....
some were sentimental and more involved. But everyday I could look at that tree and just THANK the LORD for so many leaves on our tree!! Our family is BLESSED in so many ways and we are TRULY THANKFUL for all we have. Thankful for family, friends, shelter, food, love, joy, happiness....I could go on and on!!
Even though we missed out on quite a bit the end of the month and I know my little Max was really disappointed about missing his feast at school, his Thanksgiving program, and his first night of Basketball practice as we ALL were disappointed about  missing out on sweet family time with our extended families. But the LORD was quick to show us despite what we missed we had so much to be THANKFUL for and we are especially THANKFUL for our wonderful Lord Jesus who watches over us and takes care of us ALWAYS!!

Emery's Thanksgiving Feast!!

Emery's school had their Thanksgiving Feast on Nov. 21st!! It is a school wide event so that the entire school eats lunch at the same time. This is the first year that I have gone because they usually don't really ask for help with it.
Em was ALL about wearing her CUTE Turkey shirt she made!!

When I got there the kids were already seated and eating. I was on the clean up crew so I didn't get to see the very beginning. So glad I popped in a little early or I would have missed ALL of it!!
Sweet friends!! I just LOVED all the cute decorations!! Each table was decorated so different and festive! It was so ADORABLE!! I should have taken pictures of the other tables!!
 Cookie time!! Yes PLEASE!!
I cleaned up and then popped in to tell Emery bye. These two cuties were all dressed up playing Princesses!! Love it!!

November in pics...

Just so I don't leave Nov completely out...here is Nov update with a few pics. Honestly, Nov was pretty low key for the most part. Well as low key as it can be with 2 kids, 2 different schools, church, soccer ending, basketball beginning, dance, work, etc.....
Just a few pics at Max's second to last game! He ended up his season Nov. 9th!
He LOVED helping out with goalie but he loves playing on the field more. We finished up the season strong! Max really worked hard and learned a lot of new things this season. A big thanks to Coach Kopp and our Crocodile team for a good season!!
We finally tried Three Guys Pizza Pie!! Max has been asking to go here for a while now so we decided to try it out! Max LOVED it!! He got to make and build his very own pizza! Overall, it was pretty good so we will definitely have to try it out again!
Chocolate ice cream mustaches!! We had to make a run to the mall one night and the kids were so good we treated them to some ice cream! I just loved their little mustaches so had to grab a pic ;)
Snapped a picture of Max and his turkey before he headed out to school! He was very proud of all his hard work (or Momma's hard work)!! Max's fave Cowboys player is #88 Dez Byrant so we made a look a like Turkey! LOL
On Nov. 16th we had some fun times at the twins from school's Bday party!! Max's buddy Cooper from class grabbing a quick hug!! I just love how close this class already is together! So fun!!

Emery got invited as well! She opted to sit next to Max's buddy Brooke from class!
Working hard on their plates! They turned out so cute! I totally forgot to snap a pic of the finished product. Will have to do that and post it on here soon.
Sitting with one of the birthday boys!

Operation Christmas child has been a tradition in our home for a few years now! I can honestly say the kids had the BEST time filling up their boxes for a child close in age! Love teaching my babies about the TRUE meaning of Christmas!! If you have never heard of Operation Christmas Child you should check it out and add it to your family tradition each year. You won't regret it!!
On Nov. 19th Max's soccer coach invited the team to Yogurt Mountain for a little trophy ceremony and he treated the team to some frozen yogurt!

The kids had a BIG time!! They were ALL about be super silly! Love those sweet smiles!
Nov. 21st Max and Emery had their FIRST Chickfila Daddy/Daughter date night!! They were looking pretty sharp/cute that night!!

Emery was so excited she couldn't see straight!! Girl was showing me all kinds of CRAZY faces!!
Max and I joined in and had a Max and Mommy night as well!!

Unfortunately it was rain....rain and more rain that night. So Craig and Em got just a tad bit wet. They didn't let that stop them from having a GREAT time!! Emery had her FIRST ice skating experience with her Daddy!! So sweet! And lots of fun activities that night!! Emery came home literally BEAMING. It was priceless and I will never forget how she told me ALL about her first date night with her Daddy!!

Max and I hit up the Bowling alley and some pizza at Stevi Bs. We had a GREAT time as well!! They we came home and played some games and just hung out. Love, love my sweet Max time! I think we all really enjoyed our night and def need to make a point to do things like this again soon!!
We had Crawford over for a little playdate on Nov. 22nd. The girls were so STINKING cute dressed up and singing to the Disney Wii singing game! We had such a FUN day filled with painting nails, tattoos, picnic lunches (indoors), games and more!! We love our little Crawford!!!
Just a few days later though a horrible horrible stomach virus hit our home and that my friends was NOT pretty at all...it lasted into the beginning of Dec and has been a big reason of why EVERYTHING is crazy behind these days....here's to catching up very very soon!!
