We're back from the trek West. We actually got back last week but first and most importantly I had to get my hair done and grocery up and spend the weekend doing things with John. Among other things we (I) lost and relocated my fabulous new blob-free cellphone, searched out and ordered John new glasses, went to the temple, and generally left the girls to their own devices. I think they enjoyed it.
They were mostly on their own last night, too. And most of the day today.
I've grabbed a few moment to catch up on friends' blogs and have noticed that they don't seem to leave their kids to wander around snacking and watching too much TV with the occasional chore thrown in. Am contemplating a new order of activity around here.
After I get some more stuff done.
P.S. Explored the overgrown square-foot garden and discovered four cukes. At about $50 a piece they sure tasted good.
