Cliffumba: The name that never was

Photos from a day when some of Ash's friends came to see the handsome devil.

The other day we were at a baby-themed cafe named Jitter Bugs and got a chance to compare Azkia's development to other kids. He is larger than most 5 month olds we saw though he is only 3 months. To add to this he now cries whenever he is handed to strangers (Everyone who sees him wants to hold him .... well, or eat him if truth be told as he looks delicious apparently). So it was rather sad that he would not allow my Aunt Willie, my first relative from Kenya that has had a chance to meet him, to carry him. (Thanks Aunt Willie for everything btw).

Convinced he must be shattering all sorts of milestones, we took closer observations of things he does but should not be able to do, and so far our list includes:

1. Stranger anxiety - supposed to happen at 7 months
2. Has the most infectious laugh, squeals and coos- 4 months
3. Grasps toys - 4 months
4. Plays with his hand and feet. It's amazing how amusing his finds his feet - 5 months
5. Everything that he gets a hold of goes straight into his mouth -  4 months
6. He is massive

On the last point I know of only one tried and true way to test his growth.
