Farms in the city

We had to come up with makeshift plans this past Sunday after our prior arrangements fell through. So off we went to a city farm to see who was lambing and discover if the boys could get muddier that the pigs.

As is expected, the first thing one runs to on getting to a farm is:




After some convincing, it was off to see the birds...


... and the sheep.


But the animals, just wouldn't hold their attention.



But this is what kept them most entertained:




They spend ages just running about this maze and laughing.

All sorts of unforeseen outcomes emerge just from being in a creative environment. All these years and I never realized that my wife's wizardry in shadow puppetry. Look at this dinosaur grazing:
